Hey all, I've been vaping all week w/ no analogs finally.... Noticed a little last night and more today that I'm not getting the taste I was before. Was vaping JC Red Oak Domestic mixed with Peach(both VG) and noticed almost no taste coming through, though there is TH and good vapor. Noticed also there was some condensation inside my tank(where the vapor comes through right by the mouthpiece), and a slight "water" flavor when I'd exhale. So, changed to a brand new tank w/ some JC Chocolate truffle(PG) and the same thing! Just like a smoky slightly burnt flavor. Did my atomizer just go out? It's barely a week old.....

If it is still producing plenty of vapor, I'd say it is your tastebuds changing. I've been using my eGo for close to 2 months and love it. I use the type B tank with an LR atty. Plenty of vapor, taste and TH. I've tried a few cartos on my eGo batts and none can match the tank, especially since I can clean the attys and they will last indefinitely.

Edit: I use 50/50 liquid. I read that pure VG doesn't wick well in the tanks.

Agree with some of the above - likely taste buds adjusting - you'll get back full flavor (in food too) at about 4-6 weeks. If I were you, I'd drop the atty in clear unflavored 151 vodka - cheap stuff - Galen's if available in your area (@$12) fully submerged - you'll see the vodka get yellow - that's the crud coming off the coil - 20-30 minutes should do it - blow it out from the batt end and restart.

Seems my atty was dirty -ended up reading up on it so I changed my atty and no prob..... Will try your trick for cleaning, Kent, thanks. Seems easier than taking apart the attys. FWIW I have a type A.

I had some early beta eGo-t's type A and if you follow the 'thread' of the development of the eGo-t you'll see a lot of people liking the B type/Cylinder much better for taste and volume and workability. While many had leaks, the soft caps are a good fix.

Taking apart the atty is pretty simple actually, but I've only done that out of curiosity. Vodka has always worked for me. I don't recommend dry burns on the eGo-t attys - you'll see some do but I've lost three doing dry burns.

There's only three ways the eGo-t can leak - through the top cap on the sides, through the top cap hole and through the spike because the wick needs adjustment. The soft caps fix the first two and this fixes the last:
