I think I understand now what the OP was saying. Here's an example and perhaps I am doing it wrong, so I will post a screen shot:
Hitting Calculate, if not using ANY PG except for flavorings, gives an error message: "you need to add more PG, can't use a negative number"
In the example here, let's say I want to make a 3ml test batch
My nic is 100% VG nic in 36mg, and I want to make 12mg juice
Juice will be as close to 100% VG as possible, i.e, except for flavoring, which is PG
I will use 5% of each flavor, and there are 2 flavors (gummy bear and tutti fruiti, 5% each)
T
he calculator gives error messages every single time unless I am not filling it out right so here is the screen shot so you can tell me if I'm doing it right:
I used imageshack. For some reason ECF won't take the upload---if bigger is needed here is the link:

hearing that bell go off and the error messages every time is kinda annoying. The ONLY way to make the error msg. go away is not to input the water at all.
Doesn't matter whether you increase the final ml amount from 3ml to 5ml to 10ml though.
And it also doesn't seem to matter if you increase the water %....just putting it in will generate the error message. The only way to make that go away is not to put the water % in at all.
Distilled water would be used to dilute it a bit, since VG is thick.
