Just made my first Ekowool coil on my igo-l that I drilled out the airhole to 1.6mm and holy crap it is awesome. It's at 2.1 ohms on my Evic and it's awesome. This stuff is amazing and you can dry burn it clean too

I've been waiting to see some other opinions on it! I should have mine in soon (I got the 1.5mm stuff), which size are you using??
I am using the 1.5mm, once my mech gets here I am going to try the 3mm and fold it into itself and then coil
Just vaping my first Ekowool now. I had to settle for the 1mm as that's all Stormy's had at the time. Tripled it over in a 6/5 30g coil at 1.6ohm on my Octo. vaping at 13watts. I'm very impressed. Flavor is CLEAN. With the Pina Colada I have, I was mostly getting coconut, and very little pinapple. This stuff is helping the pinapple come through more, which is very nice. Vapor is some of the best I've ever produced. Definitely liking this stuff so far. Next stop - Ekowool in a micro coil and then in my V2 Terminator.
Ekowool bump! What's this micro coil everyone keep talking about? I've seen it mentioned several times.
I have some 2mm and 3mm arriving this week from a co-op. I didn't realize they were hollow, but I'm sure I'll enjoy. Next time I'll order 1.5mm.
Micro coils are BOMB...made my first one two nights ago. My second was was today after work...twisted 28g kanthal @ .5-.6 ohm micro 4/5 wrap.

I tried to make a micro coil and failed. I cant manage to get the ekowool through it once I make it
Yeah it kind of frays where you cut it...I've been trying a single 1.5mm (as opposed to folded 1mm) in my eBaron Dripper standard wrap, the results seem inconclusive. Flavour seems a bit muted but cleaner...Dunno if it wicks correctly as it seems to dry up quickly (w/o increased vapour).
Will have to play with the setups, will surely sleeve the 1.5mm with #500 mesh to try it in the geni...
I almost ordered some of this stuff last night. I think I'm gonna wait till July when I'll be at a brick and mortar that sells it. I also have about 30 feel of silica to go through , which actually shouldn't take too long as I change my coils and wicks every few ml in all my devices.

I understand the wick is hollow, did you put something inside the wick?
How much heat can this ekowool take? this coil looks like 5/6 of .5mm ribbon, pretty hi res. may anyone say if it could hold a .8ohm?

This is 2 mm ekowool. I used ss mesh to carry the juice faster. Good Eye man ! Yes it's .5 Ribbon Kanthal. I'm getting 1.6 ohms. It's vaping just nicely. As long as the mesh is in, I really don't see any wicking problems at any resistance.
