Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen and Missing Persons with pink tutus of all hues, and all the special Sui Generis individuals of the intergalatic vapetude, and Our Ste. Nanny of the Beach.
Been playing in this sandbox for a little over half a year, and have learned which end of the
to suck on. But some things still confuse me, like chemistry and Boyle's law and why the near frost![]()
two nights ago burned the leaves on only one of the dozen or so varieties of tomatoes. And...
Well, I'd best give you the facts before asking your advice, right?
Mod= trusty old Defender 50, foosha, slightly scratched from keys, coins, fasteners that share pockets with it.
Clearo= GS-Tank
Coil= iSmoka/eleaf 1.2 ohm, cotton (It's "organic", and I have some lovely waterfront land for sale, completely visible at low tide...)
Juice= Derall lavender, .6 nic, 50/50 vg/pg
This juice has the most intense flavor I've ever experienced, and the most authentic. Have some lavender plants by the door to the kitchen garden. I rub the needles. Smell is 100% identical to the vapor. Don't normally eat lavender needles or flowers, but I did, just to compare. The vapor flavor and the plant taste are the same.
Normally I vape clear juices around 8.4 watts, more or less. Turned the power down to 6.5 for this juice, and am still in danger of falling into cloud chaser territory, with very strong flavor. This is too potent for an all day vape, but it's damn pleasing now and then. Which finally brings us to the question, to which you, no doubt, have the answer, while I am clueless. All is lovely until the juice level gets down to about 25% of tank capacity. Then all holy hell in a handcart happens. The already strong flavor gets like King Kong on steroids, and makes me gag, cough, and get curly toes
and unaccustomed political leanings, as well as a strong notion that vaping is part of the Warren G. Harding legacy, returned from the dead to torture me. I add juice to the Tank... back up to the 90% full level. Taste returns to merely intense and very pleasing.
What's going on?

Yeah. What he said.A theory...you have found a coil that is perfection, whether through design or fluke has the perfect vape
attributes of taste and vapor.
When your tank reaches critical mass of 25% full, the coil will allow more juice into the coil as the atmospheric
conditions within the tank have altered to allow this phenomenon...thus altering the perfection of said coil.
Upon refilling, the tank returns to the state of perfection as the atmospheric conditions have stabilized.

I've gotten into a habit of always filling my tanks before this happens to me and it has happened quite often. I think that when it gets a little low, the vacuum in the tank changes and saturates the coil wick too much. This is my 2 cents... Other than that, it is quite a mystery, but you're not alone, G.Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen and Missing Persons with pink tutus of all hues, and all the special Sui Generis individuals of the intergalatic vapetude, and Our Ste. Welcome (=Whoever posted the info about putting a Ni coil in a GS-M tank has my undying gratitude!
Yeah. What he said.![]()
Are you using one of them? I am slowly starting to reeeeeeeeally dislike mine.Whoever posted the info about putting a Ni coil in a GS-M tank has my undying gratitude!

Hey, I'm not saying I'm Wonder Woman but...

Doh! You looked behind the curtain...Ayyyuh! It sounds so plausible, so calmly stated, so scientificul and rational...
I'm tempted to embrace the entirety of the Cheechian palaver. It's bodaciously brilliant balderdash, masterfully mounted malarkey, an inventive inveiglement to get on my knees, spread my arms wide, and with my eyes akimbo, yell, "I believe". All that's missing is the explanation for the constancy of the vapor produced while the flavor and throat hit change.
Anyhow, it's far better than anything I can come up with.![]()
I have 1 GS AIR TANK, 2 GS AIR M & 1 GS AIR MS, yes I use the NI200 coil on one of the M since it's bigger and slightly handles them better and even to show off to my friends but I really stopped using it because "you need a lot of airflow!" I use the NI200 coil heads steady on my Eleaf Ijust 2 (a cheap and a superb subohm tank), like I said in another post the NI200 coils is a much hotter vape more similar to subohming so it's not worth using them on the GS air series due to the lack of airflow.Are you using one of them? I am slowly starting to reeeeeeeeally dislike mine.![]()
Congrat's to the winners!! I almost bought a 40 this morning. There's a deal at ecig.com with coupon code: ILOVEYOU.
Brings it from 26 to 24.70. My shipping is 2.59 which brings it to 27.29. Is this a good deal? Like I said, I really don't need another battery, but it sure is tempting.![]()
