Ahem... those are not cartomizers. The picture on top was taken a very long time ago by our friend Trog--of his atomizer coil. Since there's no wrapper around it, what you see in gunk, but no burned matter. Those silica wicks don't burn and can be cleaned. This will happen to every coil in every atomizer--eventually. However, when you wrap a flammable material (polyfil or cotton) around a hot coil, you get this:

The gs air m is here along with coils. Currently priming. Doesn't seem to be any verification codes on the boxes for either though...do I maybe have fakes....or do they not have a verification check number?
I don't have any verification codes on my coil boxes, either. Don't think it's a problem, though.

I didn't see any verification code on my coil boxes.
Looking forward to hearing your impressions of the tank!

Doesn't seem like anyone has verification codes...eleaf website suggests products ought to...I don't know! Did read somewhere that it was a recent'ish addition...only seen pics of boxes with codes for their batteries....puzzling.

Regardless I'll roll with it.

So the tank....it's good, very good. Lots of flavour, smooth draw, plenty of vapour, fairly cool draw I'm finding.

Reliable so far, had around 40 draws and no dry hits or gurgling or flooding. Makes an airy noise!

Got it on an mvp 3.0 and trying out black note sonata for the first time...maybe not the best choice of juice as I have no reference! 50/50 pg/veg blend.

Pushed it up to 18 watts on an mvp 3.0 and after 4-5 draws got a slight burnt taste. Doesn't seem to have wrecked the coil as back down to 12-15 watts now and no burnt taste. Am using a 1.2 coil.

The airflow control is good, finding approx. 60% open works for me.

Comparison - kind of similar to a subtank nano but suited to mouth to lung hits. Smoother than the nautilus with less throat hit.

Tough to fill from a glass dropper, filled it with a blunt syringe in the end.

Reckon it's a cracker of a tank...let's see how the 1.2 coils hold out.

Hey, "Tia"! Nice review. I am anxious to hear what you think when you try it with one of your favorite juices that you know well. It's so hard to judge vapor production, throat hit, etc when the juice is as new to you as the tank you are using.

Filling up the tank is the only negative I have with the "M"s. I do use a needle tip syringe, and leave my juice in the glass bottles they come in. Or you can go with needle tipped bottles, and transfer a few days worth of juice to each bottle. Here's an example: http://www.amazon.com/15ml-Dropper-Bottles-E-liquids-Liquids/dp/B00EIKRO98

Hope you continue to like the tank. Try out the 1.5 coils when you get a chance, too. :)

Thanks for this nanny. I have a metal needle tip holder that I can take out and about for filling and will use the syringe at home for now. Might get some dropper bottles in future.

Enjoying the air more and more. Early doors but at the price it's a bargain and holds up very well against more expensive competition.

Right about the juice choice....

Sounds like you like it! I love my GS M...it's my main tank, tbh. I prefer the 1.5 original coils. I've seen quite a few reviews where people were unhappy with the 1.2 ones. Hope they work out for you, though! After all...everyone is different and the main thing is to get what works for you!

Aye I tend to prefer higher ohm coils, but the cotton sold me, always scared by concerns around silica coils..but could be convinced...

Hi, couple of questions.

I have 2 of the GS Air M units, good taste and no problem wicking 80VG/20PG on either one.

The biggest problem I have both is that on both the AFC rings are looser than an Ex-laxed goose, very, very damned loose. Any fix for it? It's damned near a deal breaker as far as getting any more of these which is a shame as otherwise they work great. Well maybe the gurgling after they sit for a while but I easily work around that. Oh, the coils are the 1.5 original type, I bought a gob of them when I originally bought the units.
