Breathing a sigh of relief here....I thought you meant that only 1 of those coils worked. We'll talk about doing more after the holidays. Right now I just don't have time.
Exactly...me neither! Besides...I am in good shape right now since the coils are (blessedly) lasting so long! But I DO want more once the Holidays are over!

Well, I just realized that I quit the nastiness exactly 4 years ago at 4:30 today.View attachment 513697 And yes, I'll never forget the exact time and date. It's been a pleasure since that day!! :)

Impressive. Very impressive. I quite back in March. However due to various 'issues' I relapsed (smoked during the day and Vaped in the evening) about 4 months back. However 4 weeks ago to the day I quit again.

To rephrase a song '4 is the magic number'.

For now I am spending more on vaping...stocked up on juices and experimenting with rebuilding...and I am literally chain vaping. But the cost will even out and then be in my favour. And I will stop chain vaping.

Only problem with vapkng is it is too darn enjoyable!

Well done sir imrs.

Tibs' suggestion is probably the best here; adjust the power. I have no doubt, if you're a MTL vaper, that you could build those RDAs for 9-12mg e-liquid. But as a new rebuilder, I would suggest you start with the simple solutions, ie power adjustment. As you get more familiar with your new gear, how you like to vape them, the building process, etc, you can fine-tune toward your nirvana vape!

Thanks Aldenf.

Yes that sounds promising. I really want to vape these nets with the extra extract. Even at normal flavour they kill my gs coils within 2ml. Also want to avoid having to buy a similar batch at 0mg to mix down to 6mg.

Made my first attempt at a coil for the kayfun lite plus tonight. Over eagerness led me to try and use a screwdriver I had, of course that meant I could not tighten the deck screws enough to keep the kanthal in place, also meant I ruined the screw heads. So never got to vape it.

But managed to get a reasonable coil with fair number of wraps.

I think building high ohms and the lower wattage will tweak at 12 mg juice.

Got to buy some precision screwdrivers...

Cannot belief how small a build deck is though! I need a magnifying glass....

NETs are murder on coils... Bloody murder. Worse than any caramel frappucino with with extra sugar on top.

My favorite Kayfun build: 29 or 28g kanthal A-1, 2.5 mm ID, 1.2-1.6Ω, wicked with Japanese cotton. Never fails. At 8-12 watts.

Got to buy some precision screwdrivers...

You don't have any blue screwdrivers? Most RTAs come with a blue screwdriver... Eyeglass repair kit? You should be able to find at least one itty bitty screwdriver somewhere in your house.

And you need better deck screws, too:

nope had sum precision drivers but they were those hexadecimal type ones...have messed up the screw heads bad.

We have a mountain of tools...all sorts but no tiny screwdrivers.

Will take a look at better screws...had read m1.3 for the kayfuns so I can always buy more.

Edit yes those screws look good to go and that magnifying glass thank you Katya you are a font of knowledge.

:?: why not adjust the voltage/wattage down? i have not lowered my nic intake by much and maybe i'm doing it wrong but when a tank provides more of a hit than i want i adjust the power instead of the nic level.
Same here :) nautilus mini, GS airs, at 8 to 9w, kflv2 clone at 7 to 7.5w, same 18mg juice.

I'm still lumping along with the 1.5ohm GS air coils at around 7 to 7.5 watts (depending on the time of day) in my GS Air M. I also use the Aspire BVCs in my Cero. Recently I had one of those Aspire coils last me just over 6 weeks of continuous use (at night) and thought that was amazing!

But I have to toot my Tootle Puffer horn a little now...I just realized (and verified on my calendar) that the GS Air coil I currently have in my GS Air M has been cranking along for 8 weeks now...with no signs of flagging in flavor, or smoothness, or any other degradation of quality. I have been using it all day every day all that time! I have some GS Air coils that Lynn rebuilt for me...but I have only been able to use one (in a GS Air orig. tank) that I have an alternate flavor in that I don't use all that much. It works great, BTW. But, I sure hope I'm not jinxing this...but 8 weeks using 85PG/15VG seems awesome to me! Yes...my menthol juice is clear. I'm so impressed and rather excited! I thought it had lasted around 6 weeks or so. But it's surpassed that. If only ALL of them would do so well, I'd be in vaping Heaven!
Wow and I was proud that finally I have a coil lasting 10 days and counting since I have only unflavored Nic base in it

I've looked at all those coils before and where is the single coil MTL Kanthal? Shame shame! The rebuildable appears to be a possibility, or the titanium if I ever go TC..
The sticker shock on these coils is a bit much. Seem to average $5 a piece.

That's awesome IMRs! I got a notice yesterday was my 1 year vaperversery on ECF, I had quit smoking and started vaping a few months before that but don't remember the date haha.

Ooh too pricey for sure! Congrats on winning the tank though!
Thank you! Be a nice toy to curb any shinyitis that may linger in my system.
Still madly, deeply, passionately in love with my GS Air tanks!
And they don't try to take my wallet!

That's the way to do it Cheechako! Unfortunately I broke my pledge of no purchases in December when the kabuki clones came out on fasttech
