For the pico they recommend at least a 25amp discharge.

I know nothing about amps, but are you saying I should increase my power? I vape around 10-12 watts with the coil at 1 ohm. If I remember Ohm's law correctly, V=IR; with my voltage at 3.6 V , resistance at 1 ohm ... Gives me 3.6 amps. Too low for the Pico?

Try a different atomizer and see if it performs normally. Something that can cause weak performance is when the center pins aren't making good contact because the atomizer isn't snug in the threading or because the center pin on the atomizer is a tiny bit too short and barely makes contact.

Good suggestion. I will try a different tank.

You are fine with a 20A battery just don't go over 60W.

10-12W on a 1 ohm coil seems a little low.

Any lack of flavor is the fault of the Eleaf EC coils that come with the kit. The M3M is actually a brilliant little tank. Try it with Vaporesso Ccell or Triton Clapton coils.

I use the Melo 3 regularly now, with the .9 ohm kanthal cCell coil....flavor is quite good.

I believe everyone who chooses what battery to use should be able to do a watts law calculation from memory and understand what it means for safe vaping. A 25 amp output battery is recommended by eleaf so that if you run the mod at 75 watts until the minimum voltage cutoff you still won't be pushing the battery beyond it's rated capacity. 3.1 volts cutoff x 25 amps = 75 watts. The LG HG2's have a 20 amp rating. Doing the same math you don't want to go above 3.1 volts x 20 amps = 60 watts. At the low watts you use the HG2 is more than adequate. The extra margin can be called head space, good for safety.

Using a kayfun. The coil reads .93 on the Pico and 1 ohm on two other mods - both iStick 30's ..... Significant?

Some iStick 30W's read 0.1 ohm higher than normal.

I'd really like to see an easily obtained 25A CDR battery that has an decent life, similar to the 25R's or HE4's.

If you bought he Pico to run it at 75W's you bought the wrong mod...

I don't want to take mine apart to check and they don't come with a spare in the Pico kit, but... mine feels like glass and sounds like it when tapped with metal.

And I just checked a vendor site and it's listed as glass.

Oh I hope its glass cause I just ordered a juice with cinnamon in it. Feels like glass and sounds like glass on the device, I didn't think seemed like plastic til I took it apart to clean it. I got my Pico at a B&M shop. It was wrapped and everything about it seems 100% genuine!

With it dis-assembled... it really feels/taps like plastic?

There's an authenticity scratch-off on the bottom of the Pico box... but if the B&M opened it and resealed it, it will read as real.

And I've read of major makers having the codes counterfeited, or just repeated, which is half the reason I never bother. Laziness being the other half.

But if you're confident it's plastic... a call then a trip to the shop is in order.

Wattage reported by mods will have some variability, especially the lower the resistance. It's unlikely to affect your vaping.
