Well...I put my other Buddha mini on. And it seems to be fine. I think the center pin in the flaky one is a bit close, but I never had the problem on the Provari.

gotcha, but thinkin the first order of bizzness is to be sure your new PICO is not at fault

swapin' several topper tanks and maybe goofin' with TEMP CONTROL, so if need be, return it in allotted vendor time o_O

I recall seeing a pic someone posted (probably a different thread) of a pac man logo they were using. If that poster is following this thread could you share/attach the bmp you used?

It won't let me attach it as a bmp, though I'd imagine you can convert it with paint and it would still work just fine

edit, removed dropbox link... are dropbox links to personal files allowed?

been a long time since I did graphics work and didn't feel like trying to make something from scratch or resize something from the web.

There's a, purportedly, wicked little app by one of the DNA folks, though I haven't tried it...

Custom Theme Image Gen Application - Evolv DNA Forum

I haven't bothered with custom screens on either the JTechs or DNAs, but it might be of use.

Thanks, this worked. It outputs the images at 128x32 so it took some tinkering to get the font size right, then use MSPaint to crop it close to 96x16 then resize it, but I ended up with something that works. I will play with it more when I have more time and download gimp or something similar that gives better crop/resize controls.

Cool beans. I knew there would be a screen res discrepancy but haven't d/l'd it to see what tools it might have built-in. But I saw that it can import tiny .bmp pics so I thought I'd throw it out there.

Maybe create a template with a centered 98x18 rectangle and crop inside that in Paint or GImp?

Yeah, that is my thought too. I used to do a lot of work with Adobe PhotoShop but it's been years. I just downloaded GIMP and InkScape to play with when I have more time to see if I can find a quicker way to make the logos. I was thinking I could put the juice name into a logo.bmp so it's easier to remember without keeping the juice refill bottles near all my mods, or having to take a hit to remember what's in the tank. :D

With the limitations of 26650s I just don't understand these kinds of devices. It just sounds dangerous to me (using a 26650).Also since its a Joyetech board is it also a Joyetech 510?
I'm sure I'm going to own one. A single LG HG2 with 3000 mah will just barely last me a day. Most days that's not important because I'm recharging at home, in the car, and at work. It would be nice to have the Pico form factor with 4000+ mah. Then I'd get through s day in the field with ease and no need to carry a spare battery. What's brilliant about the Pico is it's shorter than an 18650 so the mod atomizer combination is shorter. That's what I prefer for stealth which applies to most days. (I'm not carrying a micro that can never get me through a day.) I'm a bit suprised they didn't keep uniform thickness so larger atomizers would fit but I don't need that so it works for me. I won't be getting one until there is a silicone sleeve or textured wrap available. I don't need multiple 26650s since I'll recharge on board.

The 26650 Pico is just wrong in all sorts of ways.

To quote WeeLeaf's page.
Parameter:
For iStick Pico Mega:
Size: 53.5mm*31.5mm*73.5mm
Thread type: 510 thread
Cell type: High-rate 18650 cell (Continuous discharge current should be above 25A)
Cell type High-rate 26650 cell (Continuous discharge current should be above 35A)

Too bad that 35A+ CDR 26650's don't exist, or even 30A CDR versions. Keeping with the 3.1V saftey factor, the current crop of mooch's top 26650 (25A CDR) will give you the 10% window at 70W. No one should buy the Pico to vape it at Max wattage anyway.

Also the 6+ hours to charge if you use the onboard charger...
