Thanks for the link. Other then the shape, doesn't look like anything new over their similar mods. But at the price, should be attractive to many. With my current stock pile of Pico's and VTC Mini's, I'm personally just interested in new DNA75 mods. The chip is assume and with the latest updates, if your a SS fan, they are IMO the best on the market right now, at least in the single 18650 category, which besides my toy mini mods, is all I use.
What is the ohm's of the SS coil you aare using?
I am having trouble Thanks

Not a WeeLeaf product, but it is a sweet little MTL vape that holds 5ml and runs all day for me at 18W. :D

About to try a new titanium coil on the Merlin and the Pico. I was reading a bit about it, and do you guys always lock the resistance when using a TC coil? I think that might have added to my problems with my last Pico when I had the notch coil on there. I never locked the resistance, and it was constantly asking me if it was a new coil.

I used to lock resistance then I read many said you shouldn't so now I don't. Haven't noticed a difference on any of my mods either way but I haven't been using my picos much lately. I have one on my desk and I haven't used it in days. It can't hurt to give it a try and see if it helps with that issue and if it gives a better vape for you.

Will Triton mini coils work on the Melo? I'm having hell of a time finding a great MTL tank.

No. The full size Triton and Atlantis coils will fit. Haven't tried it but I've heard the Triton 1.8ohm coils with a more restrictive drip tip make a good MTL combo.

Aspire Triton Mini Coils are for:

Aspire Triton Mini
Aspire Nautilus
Aspire Nautilus Mini

Ah... "Mini". Completely my bad for not knowing the Aspire product line and not paying attention.
Sorry bout that.

No idea why I never bought a single Aspire tank.
Great stuff... just never made the jump into the cart.

Egad... I've never tried any of the four (?) versions of the TFV4 line.
Or the all-around winner Sub Tank Mini.

I'm probably on a watch list somewhere, labeled "subversive".

:p

I lock. Definitely with Ti and Ni... sometimes I don't with SS, mostly to test. I haven't noticed a huge difference when I've tried not locking with SS and the others I haven't tried "unlocked." Personally I wouldn't try that either, unless the mod is missing a lock function altogether.

I figure if the mod has a "lock atomizer resistance" function, they intend for you to use it.

fwiw I think the talk I read of not locking it was in the dna75 thread.... but I went ahead and locked both of mine earlier today after the discussion in here and I can't notice any difference on the ss316l coils I have in the merlin and griffin tanks on those smy sdna75 mods.

I've been using it with it locked. But Damn It puts out so much vape now, and I can't hardly get it to get real hot. Got the temp set on 550 f and it isn't even very warm. But I am almost drinking the tank with how fast I am going through it. Filled it twice today. And twice in 12 hours yesterday. This titanium coil is crazy on how much vape it puts out. It feels like I am drinking the juice.
