I have had my Pico "not" stop firing after I released the button, twice now. Both times I pulled the battery out and put it back in and it worked properly again. Both times, perhaps just a coincidence, when I put the battery back in, I noticed that the battery bar was all the way down, or close to it (3.5V-ish on my charger). Anyone have this happen before?

Not on any of my Pico's, but just recently on one of my SMY SDNA75's. Evolv replaced the board for free, no questions asked. I know that doesn't help you much, but it might be the board going bad.

Thank you, I am putting them in right and I've been using two LG HG2 INR18650 High Drain Flat Top (3000mah, 20A) and one Sony VTC4 IMR 18650 High Drain Flat top (2100mAh, 30A). I've currently been offered a new mod and battery so I'm going to check if that one's faulty.
Do you have a multimeter to test the batteries instead of using the pico to test. If I remember right I got that same error before when using a weak battery with too high watt setting. Try testing the battery with a multimeter and also try setting the watts down to a low setting under 15 watts. And see if it works.

Lol, mine just did that yesterday. It's not a good feeling at all. I tried cleaning the mod real good to see if that helps any. Also I've had it happen with a nearly dead battery and even with a half charged battery.

Unless you can put a load on the battery, a multimeter will not tell you if a battery is weak or good.

Yea, I just mean if its charged. If its a cheap knockoff it might drop voltages real quick and not hold a charge. Also if his charger is not working correctly it could be saying they are charged when they're not.

When i had my old 10a batterirs the pico would almost always say too hot when I tried using too many watts on a battery that was too weak, even when they were fully charged. It would be helpful to know what wattage he is trying to use.

He is using proper batteries in his Pico, so I don't think it is a battery issue.

Sweet deal, hopefully you won't have any obscure problems with it...
I hope not. I've been dragging the Pico for a while holding out for a good deal on something better. I think this was it.

The Pico will still make a good backup mod (you know like zombie apocalypse or something). But I've heard so much good stuff about the DNA75 mods.

u will want more than 1 backup if the deeming regs dont get rescinded. I have close to 10 picos and more than 10 other regulated mods + 8 mechs and plan on buying plenty more regulated mods before Aug 2018.

Just took advantage of a great Black Friday deal on VapeNW for a new DNA75. Saved $16! Been saying I'll get one for a while.

Congratulations dude! Apply yourself to learn the Escribe software, and you won't be using your Pico much anymore. Also do some homework, and you'll see there is very little need to even bother with those 26650 batteries. And don't cross thread the battery cap!

So yeah the only wattage display I need is when I set the value at the start and maybe a little fine tuning to find the sweet spot. Sorry, I don't understand this need for a real time display on a screen that I can't see while vaping.
For someone who doesn't care what's on the display you have a pretty strong opinion about it. What's your goal? Convincing people they don't need it because you don't?

Nope, just trying to understand the how and why...
Live preheat is nice because:
- you might have actually forgotten what you set it up to
- even if you can't read exact figures while vaping you would still be able to see when it makes the switch to normal wattage... and then compare that to your brain thinking it has made the switch.

Live wattage in temp mode is nice because:
- you can find out at what part of the vape the wattage gets throttled and can shift that moment by adjusting max wattage

All of this is nice because people in forums are usually enthusiasts and want bells and whistles.
