I got a pair of the faux leather Pico cases from fastech a few weeks ago and decided i didn't like them for pocket carry but yesterday had an idea and worked on it today. I sewed a nylon strap loop to one side of the case for a string lanyard. When it's around my neck and under a sweatshirt I can take a vape and the mod is never in view. Regardless of stealth it's a good place for the mod when there's no table to put it on and my hands are busy.

that's where / how I carry my mod 50% of the time - around neck then when needed, just drop it inside my shirt or even in a pocket...

been working for me for a few years now and why I like the lanyard holes on them ;)

Hello Pico fans! Recently I got word of the firmware for the Pico's and have been using it for close to a week now. It's working fantastic, especially noticing that the battery life has been unbelievable. I must ask though, does anyone have any idea how to synchronize the real time clock? My clocks run a little fast. Thanks in advance! :)

when you said RTC (clock) I went to ELEAF to look at the downloadable software (1.03) and did not see where it shows RCT or instructions to operate... (for Pico)

 PLEASE ADVISE

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo O.K.

nopie, I don't care much about the dwld's

but , since you said RTC , I like the clock option and thought I'd look into it (not that big-a-deal)

when I stroll the coast-line and TRY to be detached (from cellphone) sometimes it's nice (or needed) to at least know the time (because it's tickin away the moments that make up a dull day )

:smokie:

interesting , that's cool...
For a test, I've been running one of my older 'pinky' samsung inr batteries that could never really keep up and I've been up since 2:30 this morning... I'm still on a half a tank (battery life) and I very seldom put it down!!

Seems everybody loves them. I have 2 Aliens and a bunch of bb's and a bbb, a OBS Nano on the way to get into rebuilding, but for work this seems great. Not that the Alien isnt. With the pico I can put some bb's to use. .....honestly I believe its just an excuse to spend more money I dont have.....lol. Just so many nice products out there to try these days.

The Pico is a great little mod at a very good price. It's a nice pocket mod with a small tank. As you already have those BB tanks, you're set.

I got my brushed silver in September. About 8 weeks later, the finish on the battery topper where my finger goes and the trigger is completely gone. I got it from NWVapes. is the wear normal, or did I get a fake. And...should this be covered under warranty?? Thanks.

Surprised you're getting excessive wear. The brushed silver is a color thing, not actual brushed metal. Many mods have had early wear of the finish issues, including higher end mods like an Alien or some DNA mods. Doesn't make it acceptable, but it does happen if they don't properly prime the metal for painting. Generally finishes are not covered under warranty, but I would still reach out to NWVapes and see what their policy is.

Just flashed the Artic Fox software on one of my Picos. Clock works on the Pico? Is there a user manual somewhere? Also, do all changes to settings need to be done in the software & then downloaded or can you still access menus on the Pico itself and make adjustments?

I think the Pico is a nice mod (I've bought 4 of them)

but I just don't like it - FOR ME - wrong size, I can never get it to fit my hand as I would like... o_O

bought a pink & gray (wife/me) just after they came out
I wore the finish off my gray one where I gripped it in like 3 weeks (ugly)
finally got tired of the hand fit and put it in storage...

my daughter (down on her luck) needed something so I gave my gray one to her - she uses it occasionally

wife uses hers 24/7 - beats the livin' hell out of it !
picks it up with gunk all over her hands, sits it down in water/liquid, drops it regulary - just brutal !
well its been months now and I just took it out of service, its brains are scrambled
first TC SS just stopped working, would do nothing, so I adjusted and switched to TC Ni
I finally decided to flash it with the firmware upgrade, that did NOTHING...
now it has a mind of its own, turns off & on, switches modes...
I left it in WATTS mode till its last days and it kinda hung in there, BUT ya just never know, so I put it out of its misery

but I still have two new (all silver, all black) for backup as needed
