I ordered the pink Pico from RMV last night. I used a gift card, but I couldn't figure out how to register it online. I'm hoping the order still goes through. It said pending the last time I checked.
Jingles, look on the back of your gift card. There should be a web site to go to where you can register it. Registering just means your name and address. Make sure you use the exact address in your order. I use gift cards all the time with no problems. Pending would tell me the order did not go through.

As someone posted... we know they're still new, because for now... they're all new.

As long as he manages to let buyers know the box will be opened to remove the tank, no problem. Some change to the page upcoming, I presume.
I was considering a second from him in a few days, would have been torqued if I hadn't known.

Thanks Clnire! I looked allover last night for it and all I could see was to go to the capitalone site which I did. Once there, I couldn't find where to register a gift card. It doesn't matter now...I got a shipping notice from RMV! (You know you have a vape problem when you were given a gift card to use for food and you save it to use on vape stuff).

Darnit, I typed in my info incorrectly the first time I ordered. I resubmitted, and it went through. Didn't notice I got two order confirmations and they ended up charging me twice and sending me two.

I've got a friend that might buy one. I hope he does, because I really don't need two of them. I have three other isticks as backups/secondaries.

I noticed my box was open too, so thanks for linking the other thread. Makes sense how he broke up the kits, and it's nice for us, but I would never have done that. Hopefully he doesn't end up screwed with a ton of them.

As I said, I don't have any 18650s, so I can't try it out just yet. Form factor is different from the usual style. It's shorter, but wider. Not sure if I'm going to like that, but I'll see after I try it out. Worst case scenario it makes a more discrete to-go vape.

What counts is it worked! And you have your priorities right, who needs food anyway? ;)

Ordered 2 Picos last Monday morning and they were delivered in Upstate NY today Wednesday. RMV is a class act when it comes to customer service.
BTW, for those who want to use a tank wider than 22mm get an ego to 510 adapter and a cone-shaped beauty ring. This setup will allow you to use any size topper you want. I've been using the adapter on all my mods since I started vaping about 2 1/2 years ago. The adapter protects the mod 510 threads and it allows me to use either a 510 or ego threaded tanks. Some do not like the way the adapter raises the tank a little but to me, I don't care how it looks as-long-as I can get a satisfying vape.

Per my convo with Rocky Mountain, they do not do pre-orders. If an item is available on line at their site, it is "ready to ship". I like that!

Nanny, I only posted that because someone else said they had gone back into pre-order. Just alerting everyone that it's still available on RMV website.

Just a note on those using their Pico in temperture control. Adding any adapters to any TC mod, can adversely effect TC accuracy. If you Vape only in wattage mode, it's not a big factor, just adds some more overall resistance.

Thank you for the clarification.....I don't use TC and was not aware there could be a resistance problem.

I've had good luck with isticks. I know there were some problems with the 50w model but mine worked flawlessly until I dropped it. The screen is dead now but it still works. I use it to dry burn coils now. The pico should feel much like the 50w, which is a good thing. The 20w, 30w, and 40tc all feel like I'm going to drop them because they're so small but the 50w always felt solid in the hand.

I'll always have a soft spot for my i50, it's so light for its size and mAh, and such a great feel in the hand. But... there were plenty of problems with the i20, I have one i30 that autofired and we all know about the i50 issues.

Not that I want another fixed LiPo mod, but... if JTech wanted one (the new Cuboid Mini) and didn't want to have Eleaf update the i50 (100w maybe?) why not fix and update the eVic VT?

That's still a sexy trio of mods.

:)

so I got home Sat afternoon about 4pm and my Picos were in the mail
within an hour I discovered the gray Pico was faulty and emailed MVS...
being they were closed (after hours) I had to wait till Monday Morn for a response...
so let the battle begin…

•Monday morn 10:45am I get an email:
" I'll go ahead and have a replacement mod shipped out to you along with a prepaid return label for the defective iStick. "

•Monday morn 10:48am I get an email with tracking #
- - -
I just sent a short/sweet email to establish, expecting some back-n-forth,
but NO questions, MVS just sprang into action & took care of bizzness - I LIKE THAT !

now that is stand-up Customer Service !

I still liked the 20w though. Once I learned that it wasn't like other VW devices I just compensated and adjusted for flavor. My wife has a Nautilus mini on it and uses it when she can't smoke.
My problems with the VT was it was uncomfortable to hold. Too heavy and too many sharp edges. Jtech fixed it the only way they could- by making the VTC .
The dimensions of the Pico is the same as the 50w, just a half inch shorter. It should feel very familiar to me.

I wouldn't worry too much about using a 510 adapter on the newer isticks. I did use one on my 20w because the threading wasn't that great and the non-spring loaded 510 was starting to give me problems. The 20w was a great start, but was very flawed. Mine still works, but I haven't used it in like 6 months.

The spring loaded 510 and stainless steel threading on the 30w pretty much fixed everything. I never used an ego adapter on it, and the threading is still fine. The ego adapter would make it a slight bit taller, but it's a noticeable difference. The 40w wasn't that massive of an upgrade. It just has a little better build quality and introduces you to TC, but isn't all that accurate.

All my iSticks still work. Perhaps because I don't vape high wattage. I've heard horror stories about the 50w though.
