Got my phone back today, soooo, pics of the Pico with the pink iSub! :) The tank is empty but I only vape one flavor in it: Watermelon. Not sure why, but it's always been that way. It matches even better with a full tank. :)

Sorry the pictures are so dark. It's a very gray, rainy day today. :(

I still have 3 working 20 watt iSticks. I still use ego threaded clearos (Evods, T3s, etc.) and I put the adapter on my 20s when I first got them and they never come off. I use higher ohm atties on them and never really had problem. 510 toppers go on other mods. Including my 2 30 watters.. No problem!

...Someone mentioned that they thought the Pico and the VTC Mini had the same chipset. Can anyone confirm that? So similar power signals for both devices? I like my Pico, but I kinda like em slightly taller and skinnier like the istick 30w.

The Pico's screen layout, controls, and menus are much more similar to the RX200's, so it's likely spawned from that. I expect their signals would look similar on an o-scope.

If I were you and wanted a slightly taller and skinnier single 18650 mod; instead of buying a VTC Mini, (which is getting outdated, and comes with a pretty bad tank and meh 510 connection), I'd buy something like the Smok Nano One. They offer it in pink(ish). ;)

If I were you; instead of buying a VTC Mini, I'd wait for the next similarly tiny, but skinny device to hit the market. ;)
The layout is the same. They even time-out at the same time. The Pico advantage is the screen is much brighter than the RX200.

Maybe I'm just a dirty pig but my fire button appears to be tarnishing - anyone else?

Yeah, I said that a couple days ago. It's the price we pay for complaining about the chrome on the older models. Cheap brushed stainless.

I wish it were brushed stainless, it wouldn't tarnish, but stainless is not cheap. I don't know for sure what metal they used on the caps and button, but it sure looks like it's nickle plated. Nickle plating looks and acts exactly that way. I like the rich look of it compared to chrome, but it does tarnish.

Yup. I find the RX200's screen to be bright enough, but I s'pose Eleaf's thinking there is that the Pico is more likely to be used outside, so the display's a bit brighter. I run both of mine in Stealth mode anyway, (cause I'm sneaky :D), to preserve a tiny bit more batt life.

I am doing calisthenics to train myself to be able to hold my pico and make power changes
with one hand, without dropping said device... :D

    anyone else 'in training' ?

It's easy enough. Just put your thumb over the battery cap, stabilize the base with the side of your ring finger, and press the up/down buttons with your middle finger. ;)

Well my venture to transition from my trusty KFL+v2 clone to a newer Kayfun v4 was a failure. I knew that there was a ridiculous amount of pieces, but I figured I would only need to take apart a few for cleaning after the initial use.

After spilling like 6ml of juice from all the confusing turns you need to do to open it, fill it, access the coil, I gave up on it. Just too many things that could go wrong if I wasn't paying attention. The ring often wouldn't turn unless I stuck a mini screwdriver in there.

The flavor was decent. It tasted kinda like my KFL, and the airflow was smoother, but the flavor was closer to the Lemo tank that sits in my drawer.

Note to self: In the future, stick with what works. I've been using iSticks and my KFL and been happy for a year and a half. I've wasted so much money on juices that suck, and tanks that lack in flavor when I've already got the perfect setup for my needs.

P.S. The Kayfun v4 wouldn't fire on my iStick 40w, but worked fine on my Pico. I could have adjusted the pin, but that was pretty annoying. I spilled juice all over my Pico. I hope it doesn't cause my fire button to stick one of these days.

ok, tried that (this is important stuff)

my style was to 'pinch' the mod on the wide sides
between my thumb & middle fingers...
thus allowing the weight of the topper tank to make pico 'rotate' downward
then with bottom facing up, index finger touches (-) (+) ...

then with a flick-of-the-wrist, it snaps upright and anyone watching thinks I'm an idiot o_O

boy, this vapin stuff requires skills beyond most average mortals...

just bought a pico on accident. forgot it was in the cart when i checked out at 3F. i guess we'll see how small it really is and how well the battery life is. if the batt life is good, this might replace my severely beat up ipv d2 work mod, which constantly displays 'check battery'.

I think you'll be pleased with this happy accident. ;)

Better only try these "leet skillz" with the solid colored Picos, (enamel paint). Otherwise, after that flick-of-the-wrist, you'll look like a foul-mouthed idiot picking up the pieces of your tank from the ground. :D Metallic Picos are a bit slidey. ;)

I loaded up the Pico+Mellow3-Mini with a Ni-CCell. It worked fairly well however after leaving it on my desk while I was at work I came home to find the coil was flooded and refilling the tank resulted in floods out the air holes in the bottom.

Needless to say I was not at all pleased. Maybe not a fault with the Mellow3 but with the 3rd party "CCell" but I then started looking for other tanks to match the Pico with. Shown are three different builds on STM's that functioned well, however the STM seemed to tall for the Pico.

Onto plan "C", I had purchased a Triton2-Mini at the same time as the Pico+Mello3 kit and while unpacking realized that the stock Triton kit likely did not include TC coils. Ahhh... I found a stash of VaporShark Nautlius Ni coils and primed one up and installed on the Pico. This seems to be a good match other than the reduced output of the Trition2-Mini (it does use Nautilus coils after all!) and the reduced tank capacity. The size/weight seems to work.

Pictured below is my current favorite setup on the left (Boxer22650+OBS Crius) the Pico+Trition2-mini in the center and my old (mostly defunct) TC40 with a Aspire Maxi mounted on the right.

I've used/tried: Ti, Ni, SS430, NiFe48 and NiFe30 on the Pico with decent results. The menu system takes a little getting used to coming from Joytech products and the silly new/old coil issues many of these mods have may be carried over to the Pico. Luckly I tend to "pair" a tank with a Mod and with top fill there is no reason to dismount the tank until the atomizer needs rework.

What a fun little mod! It may gain a place in my coat pocket as my backup mod.

Stainless steel is resistant to tarnish and stains, but not impervious. Brushed stainless with a chemical assault (eliquid in this case) can cause stainless to tarnish quite easily. But whether it truly is stainless is whole nother matter haha
