According to this thread, some of the Hg2 batteries we are getting might be fake. I may have received one such fake myself judging from how fast it drains. I vape around 12 watts 1.2 ohms, and lost 75% of the charge after just 6 ml's of vaping. Doesn't sound normal to me.

Yep. It might be better to buy Samsung 30Q's until trusted vendors have a chance to sort out the "issues" they've had with recently received shipments of HG2's.

My Pico FINALLY arrived today. It was over a month but that caused me no inconvenience. It was worth the wait. Below is a picture along side an eGrip. For practical purposes, for my purposes ,they are the same size. The SV rda clone has become the only atomizer I use. The 22mm x 12mm slip ring slides up or down to seal the air supply for pocket carry. It works well enough with the battery cap. In all my previous experience this slip ring stays in place in my pocket. (I loved the egrip form factor but couldn't solve the leaking issues and now I'm spoiled by the flavor sensitivity and ease of use of the SV rda.) In another week or two I'll have a silicone sleeve. In my work situation a sleeve is mandatory.

I miss the puff counter and timer of the vtc mini. I use that information to learn about my vaping habits. May be that can be added to the Pico firmware in the future. The Pico is more work to adjust but I almost never change setings anyway. It is a little less convenient than the vtc mini at home but it's a dream for pocket carry. If I had to choose between only using the vtc or the Pico forevermore it would be a tough call. Finally I have two favorite mods instead of just one.

I think the next best thing in mini is here, Wotofo Serpent mini, just got one & I love it!

Is the AFC on the Serpent adjustable to MTL? Or does it only really do restrictive lung hits at most?

Was wondering why we suddenly had an oversupply of LG Browns locally this past month or so. I had my suspicions, but this pretty much confirms it.

Not that most normal vapers locally suspect anything. Heck, they're glad to get their favourite "Browns" cheap... while not really really caring about what's underneath the wrap.

Hopefully the "bad" cells aren't bad enough that they would randomly vent. The local press have been having a field day lately with anti-vaping news and explosive batteries would a dream headline for the damn vultures.

I believe it can do MTL with the AFC almost completely closed but the restrictiveness might also be subjective.

Now I'm wondering just how good the Pico (tank) is. Might just grab one of those Pico-S things from FT one day, though having a Pico on top of a Pico will be a bit... well... weird.

Just had to share over here two, a Pico on a Pico:

Take care you two, if the regulation fails... you'll go sub-atomic.

-sorry... Ant-Man made it to cable a couple weeks ago. :p

The 30Q is rated at 15 amps, but Pooch rates it at 20 amps. I guess it's OK, unless that is a typo ...

Plus, if you know your Japanese memes, Pico isn't actually the work-safest of names for a mod... or a tank.

Especially if it's "My Pico."

*snickers*

Reminds me we need vinyl stickers of the sort to troll people when they borrow and toot on "My Pico".

Anyway thanks for the updates on the SerpMini. If I ever get tired of the long-winded, methodical rituals needed to wick and fill my GMv2 without it pissing all over the place; or the fact that dual-coils is making me run through my juice at like 2x the speed... I'll check it out.

As of now, the metal innards of the SerpMini is already making it the next tank to try over the PicoTank - try as I might I'm not really comfortable with PEEK or PEK or whatever plastic forming the chamber on the PicoTank.

It might need it's own thread, but I'm curious.
I thought PEEK was the current (at least 8 months) "go-to" for insulators.

I'm okay with PEEK insulators, really, but with the PicoTank, the entire vaporisation chamber itself (and the chimney, but that's not as much of an issue) is made out of the stuff... which I'm not quite as comfortable with.

I'd rather heat proof glass than PEEK - though I'd take plain 'ol SS over both. Sure it's heat resistant high tech plastic... but it's also still plastic. No emperical reason to be though, it's just me and my prejudices.

I have been wondering almost exclusively on the serpent mini. I ordered my 2 from 3F Vape and it's been more than 2 weeks. I had to roust them today on a delivery date otherwise I'll forget about the entire purchase. And in the mean time hear of a serpent mini 2 coming out soon.Which makes me think. Shouldn't we have some new laws on how many new atomizers are allowed to come out in one week. I get one tank filled with my new purchase and utube has a "best new rta device to date" singalong. No one told me vaping is 80 times more expensive than cigarrettes. In fact I could of sworn it was mentioned cheaper. Of course, I didn't write the persons name down at the time who told me this, so the evidence is not clear as to who, to blame. LOL, LOL... ect.
Good thing my sense of humor is intact otherwise I'd be selling one of my kids.

Do you mean the Serpent or the Serpent mini? I don't think it's truly a mtl RTA. But like rice states below its subjective.

Just kidding. Was up late working on packing to move. Was in a jovial mood after reading a few forums. My sense of humor is at times difficult to follow. I like to try and keep things loose if I can. Only funning with my own take on things. Not serious is your best bet on me.

I stumbled on the Pico at my local store. I am loving this thing already. It is small, light weight, and easy to use. Mine came with the Mello III mini tank which I also love. The cool thing about it is that it can use the Target atomizers by vaporesso in it. I love the Target tank, but the Mello is smaller and easier to fill.

Hi everyone,
I just had an strange experience with an HG2 battery which I suspected was fake. Threw it on a mech mod with a 1.2 ohm tank, and the battery got extremely hot after 3-4 puffs. I heard somewhere that a mech mod should not really be used with a high resistance coil. Is that the cause of my problem, or is it the fake battery?

Here is my pico dressed for work. The little guy is a lot easier to handle with a silicone sleeve. It isn't pretty but this is the only way it can survive on the shop floor I work on. I've decided I like the vtc mini and pico about equally, each for different reasons. It's nice that I don't have to choose one or the other. The supper short drip tip comes off a clone nipple rda. The Nipple looks sensational on the pico but is not practical to use for me. There's no juice well and I can't use a slip ring to contol leaking.
