Well good luck. I stiil like the xtar brand, they make a 4-bay unit, but if that brand turns you off, then Nitecore is another great choice, take a look at those offerings. For those that don't have an external charger, but are considering one, a nice feature found on the better ones, is a setting that allows one to choose the charge rate. While many mods and cell phones can charger at a 1 amp rate, the Xtar XP2 I use, has settings for .25, .5 and 1amp charging, the fastest. I use the .5 amp setting, less stress, batteries last longer, if your not in a hurry.
Another downside to directly charging your mod via USB, that design is to get the mod's battery charged as quick as it can, at the expense of the life of the battery. Remember I mentioned some posts back that the Pico gets warm when I tested the direct USB charge. Battery experts constantly say one of the biggest enemies to a battery is HEAT.
Girl, I'm like VISA- I'm everywhere![emoji38]But yes, I did spend quite a lot of time in the NuT house.@ScandaLeX I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out where I've seen you before. Finally figured it out...the NT forum!
I have a 4-bay charger & sometimes I have to let the slider kin'a snap when I let go after placing a battery in it. I'm already looking to replace that charger cause too often I'll come back to find not all my batteries had a good connection & didn't charge up at all.No it's not broken but I think the constant charging of 18390's has caused it to not go up as far as it used to. I've been using this charger for almost 2 years. It charges the 14590's but I have to put them in and physically push the lever up. One side seems looser than the other.
Efest Luc Blu6- it has bluetooth!!!It's no biggie really. I'm looking around for a new battery charger anyway although this time I think it will be a 4 bay. Thanks!![]()
That's what happens when I charge my 14590's. If the charger accidentally gets bumped the batteries will fall out.I have a 4-bay charger & sometimes I have to let the slider kin'a snap when I let go after placing a battery in it. !!! G*NOTE FIVE !!!
Pufs' description of the grey is how I feel about the white. It has a dullness to it that doesn't make it stand out & scream white. Thanks for the heads up on the fugly grey. If the grey isn't "neutral" it's a total gamble for me.
Whoopty Whooo sounds like a PM is in order! And I am hardly ever in the NuThouse anymore after everything changed over there. But I met many great people over there.![]()
Nice, but how are you liking your new tank? I've given that one a look or two myself.
The target cCell coils work just fine in it.....it's what I am currently using.
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping![]()
I have used the on board charging once, and didn't experience any excessive heat.Well good luck. I am liking the Melo III tank, it is giving me far better flavor then I would have thought based on some peoples reviews....goes through the juice quickly, but that is to be expected, and being top fill, not a big deal to me.....great set up for throwing in my pocket when I am headed out side for some tractor work and the like![]()
so more of a semi-gloss?
wattage ranges depending on juice, from 25-35 (coils is "rated" to 30, but on thinner juices it handles 35 just fine). The airflow is a tad more open on the .9 coil.....plenty for a direct lung hit, though more restricted then a TFV4 or the like....it is more comparable to a sub tank, maybe a tad more then that.Off topic, but can I ask how many watts you run yours at and if you find the airflow too constrictive?
I said I didn't like the TC version and this morning I placed an order for the .9s to try in the Melo III.
The .9's are sooooo much better...depending on juice, I run between 35-45Off topic, but can I ask how many watts you run yours at and if you find the airflow too constrictive?

I will test it out some more to be sure, but your experience might not be standard.
