Well good luck. I stiil like the xtar brand, they make a 4-bay unit, but if that brand turns you off, then Nitecore is another great choice, take a look at those offerings. For those that don't have an external charger, but are considering one, a nice feature found on the better ones, is a setting that allows one to choose the charge rate. While many mods and cell phones can charger at a 1 amp rate, the Xtar XP2 I use, has settings for .25, .5 and 1amp charging, the fastest. I use the .5 amp setting, less stress, batteries last longer, if your not in a hurry.

Another downside to directly charging your mod via USB, that design is to get the mod's battery charged as quick as it can, at the expense of the life of the battery. Remember I mentioned some posts back that the Pico gets warm when I tested the direct USB charge. Battery experts constantly say one of the biggest enemies to a battery is HEAT.

I have a 2-bay nitecore and love it.

No it's not broken but I think the constant charging of 18390's has caused it to not go up as far as it used to. I've been using this charger for almost 2 years. It charges the 14590's but I have to put them in and physically push the lever up. One side seems looser than the other.
I have a 4-bay charger & sometimes I have to let the slider kin'a snap when I let go after placing a battery in it. I'm already looking to replace that charger cause too often I'll come back to find not all my batteries had a good connection & didn't charge up at all.

It's no biggie really. I'm looking around for a new battery charger anyway although this time I think it will be a 4 bay. Thanks! :)
Efest Luc Blu6- it has bluetooth!!!
That's the one I'm getting when my budget says I can go on another spending spree.

If you Google it there's one without the bluetooth capability but they look almost identical. I found that out based on the price difference. Thought I lucked up on a bargain price & after reading realized it wasn't the one I thought it was.

That's what happens when I charge my 14590's. If the charger accidentally gets bumped the batteries will fall out. :(

Thanks for the heads up on the fugly grey. If the grey isn't "neutral" it's a total gamble for me.
Pufs' description of the grey is how I feel about the white. It has a dullness to it that doesn't make it stand out & scream white.

Hmmm...could be one of the reasons why these things are so inexpensie.

Nice, but how are you liking your new tank? I've given that one a look or two myself.

I really like it. It's a bit of a pain to build, not hard just different. The flavor is outstanding since it's a fat short chimney. The drip tip works pretty good for keeping it cool & tons of air.

The target cCell coils work just fine in it.....it's what I am currently using.

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping ;)

Off topic, but can I ask how many watts you run yours at and if you find the airflow too constrictive?

I said I didn't like the TC version and this morning I placed an order for the .9s to try in the Melo III.

Man I wish I had more steeped juice. I've got a the butterscotch custard from Casey Jones Mainline Reserve that I know is gonna be killer, but it's only about a week and a half old. Lacking in flavor for now, but hope it can get there in the next week or so. If not, I may resort to heating the bottles.

Pbusardo hasn't reviewed any isticks since the 40w in August last year. I guess he sees them mostly as the same with a few tweaks. The Pico is a drastic tweak, but it still has the same features.

From what I'm experiencing, I think the signal on the pico is pretty smooth. I hope he chooses to review it, but it's probably not on the top of his list right now.

I have used the on board charging once, and didn't experience any excessive heat.
I will test it out some more to be sure, but your experience might not be standard.

I am liking the Melo III tank, it is giving me far better flavor then I would have thought based on some peoples reviews....goes through the juice quickly, but that is to be expected, and being top fill, not a big deal to me.....great set up for throwing in my pocket when I am headed out side for some tractor work and the like :)

Totally agree.

so more of a semi-gloss?

If you're talking interior paint, I'd say white satin, maybe eggshell. :)

wattage ranges depending on juice, from 25-35 (coils is "rated" to 30, but on thinner juices it handles 35 just fine). The airflow is a tad more open on the .9 coil.....plenty for a direct lung hit, though more restricted then a TFV4 or the like....it is more comparable to a sub tank, maybe a tad more then that.

The .9's are sooooo much better...depending on juice, I run between 35-45

My Evic VTC Mini's did not get as warm, but that was most likely due to the larger and more open battery compartment. The smaller space and screw on battery cap on the Pico is probably why the Pico's feel warmer. None the less, charging these types of batteries in an external charger, has its advantages.

I got one of these and think it pretty cool/fancy

will charge All of Them (auto detect)
•AAA to D cells
•10440 to 32650 cells
it displays BACKWARDS Timer (countdown)
tells you how much time IS LEFT till full charge
.5A OR 1.0A at the push of a button
and, AND slip a 18650 in and it becomes a portable power (USB OUT)
so you can charge whatever (ecig, cell phone, mp3 player, etc. )
nice for power outages, camping, travel

VC2 Plus MASTER

jus sayin'
