Hello, does anybody know if the kayfun v4 will fit on the Pico? Thanks

Yes, but I was only testing it with the plastic tank. All the turning for the juice control was maddening, so I only tried it out for like 20 minutes before I put mine back in the box. Maybe I'll get back to it one day, but that's what I said about my one time used Lemo, Mutation Dripper, and seldom used Subtank. I guess when you're happy and used to your current setup (KFL) there isn't really a reason to change.

That Ego One battery got my hopes up. I've been looking for a small form factor, non sub-ohming tube mod for years now. I could probably deal with a small battery as it would be used for a secondary flavor, but vw/vv is a requirement for me. It also looks like the tank is proprietary on that one.

I'm fairly certain that with enough time something like that will come out. Usually I carry two isticks with me, but I've found myself only using the Pico lately and leaving the second iStick in the car. Picking up my 30w feels kinda weird now when I use it. I keep them in separate pockets now when I carry both because having two is really pocket heavy these days, and I don't want to scratch my Pico just yet.

Forgive me for not reading all 1k replies but how is the chip? Specifically the TC accuracy especially when using TCR. Do the values match as the should and does it regulate properly? Is this essentially the same chip that's in the evic VTC mini and the wismec presa 75w TC?

Also, anyone using the Alleria on it? How's it look?

The alleria doesnt fit on the pico. Tried it, alleria's a 23mm tank.

Yeah mine has done the same thing. It's really the only fault I can find with the mod. The .1 watt change when attaching a tank is nothing to me. Weird, but insignificant. Just wondering if there is some kind of coating we can use to prevent the "oxidization".

There must be, but I don't know what it would be... I've got to imagine there's some kind of protective coating you can put on the steel parts.

How long before yours started doing that?

I am MUCH less concerned about the aesthetics than making sure the battery cover has no trouble going on and staying on.

I'm considering one of these, but my concern is the battery cap and a if a tank starts to leak.

You mean you're worried about the cap and leaking as separate issues, or you're worried about leakage getting into the battery compartment/making the cap sticky? the connection is very tight. I don't think that will be an issue, even with leakage. I have many other devices that are in worse shape on that front, even those that are well made.

@BrentMydland basically every mode works exactly as expected. For less than $30, it may not be the best TC but it's damn good. Actually, probably one of the better TC devices I have now. I don't own a DNA200, but I have plenty of others. Wattage is obviously fine and the manual TCR options work well. Bypass is a little bit funky and won't exceed the 75W max power afforded by the device but still a completely usable mode and actually kind of nice with a fresh batt.

Could you post a photo of the battery you are talking about? If there is no wrapper the battery is unsafe to handle or use. The entire casing is the negative terminal. It wraps up to the top and stops a short distance from the positive terminal. With no wrapper or a damagad wrapper a single short bit of metal would be enough to cause a short. So show a picture please.

By plastic wrapper I mean the transparent material similar to Saran Wrap that should be encasing the battery itself. It's actually a thicker and harder material than Saran Wrap. I always thought that plastic should be removed before use. Is it not? As you can tell, I am a newbee ... Here is a picture:

This one came with a wrapper, but it won't fit inside the pico. It only goes part of the way. Perhaps because it is a button top? I don't think so ...

That battery is a very low amp battery. If memory serves me right it's around 7 amp. That battery is no good for sub ohming imo. I'm not sure what your putting it in(looks like a ileaf pico) that battery wouldn't hold up. What will happen is it will probably work but it's going to get very hot and discharge very very fast. I would be very cautious.

I only use the green one with a mech mod. It won't even fit inside the pico. Here is a link where I ordered it:

As long as you just remember you only have a 7 amp limit your fine I was just making you aware of you were unsure. Only reason I know is because before I knew as much as I do now about batteries I abused one in my reo and I'm lucky I never had an issue. Just passing on some info. Have a good day.
