Very nice. Are you rebuilding the Serpent Mini head?
Mike.. Was that question for me?Very nice. Are you rebuilding the Serpent Mini head?
Going by ml vaped is deceiving....since the higher wattage vapers are using the juice up much quicker...all things considered, I would say it's working normallyThanks for the replies about my friend's issue then. So what you guys are saying is, you think this is normal and not a defective device correct?
So what I'm hearing is the typical battery voltage range is 3.2-4.2v, and that 3.4v is normal to see a low battery message?
My battery doesn't really last as long as I thought either. I would probably get a day and a half, go through 3-4ml of juice, vaping at 7 watts before the battery would die on me (if I ever let it get that far).
Seemed kinda weird when I've heard some people vaping 70 watts and 10ml+ of juice during the same time. Then I thought to myself that I probably take way more puffs than the average person. You guys are probably taking big hits then putting it down for a while, while I'm tootle puffing frequently during the hour to and from work.
So I guess making my tank fire more frequently drains the battery just as bad or worse than firing 10x the wattage less frequently? Or am I off base here?
These devices wouldn't be what I would concider "rapid charging"Rapid charge and discharging (cycling back and forth) of any battery type is not good for the battery. ANY type of battery.
Yes. Sorry, I thought I quoted your post with it but obviously I messed it up. Just wondering if the rebuildable head is pretty easy.Mike.. Was that question for me?
Do you have a source to back this statement?
My VTC-Mini reads the resistance about 10% higher than the Pico, which ultimately also effects the wattage (assuming voltage is correctly set). So running the same atty with the same settings provide different vapes depending on which mod it's running on.
The Pico reads the same resistance than 2nd Gen iStick 40/60.
But these are a new ballgame for Eleaf. The i100TC and Pico are part of a larger family that includes all of JoyeTech's recent TC mods. The Wismecs (RX, Presas, VapeForwards), VTCs and iSticks all share JT's components, chips, boards, TC software, firmware update features and code, etc. It's a big stable.
Its very simple to build on IMO. It took me about 10 minutes to get a build on there for the first time. Only thing to keep in mind is that, when you're using wire that is 26g or above, you should get the grub screw to catch the wire when you screw it in. The wire has a tendency to slip in the gap under the screw and then the coil isn't as stable.Yes. Sorry, I thought I quoted your post with it but obviously I messed it up. Just wondering if the rebuildable head is pretty easy.

Anyone use the serpent mini for MTL?
You might be able to use hot melt glue to hold it in place. You would need to take it apart. The pictures should be self explanatory. It's something to be careful about. The Pico will still charge but that part is what held the usb cable in place. It will slide back in but comes out easily too. Without that part firmly in place the cable comes out with very little provocation. Anybody know of a way to fix this? I hesitate to take the device apart only to find there is no fix and then I can't get it back in good working order. The moral of the story might be to be sure any cable you use for charging slides in and out easily.

how complicated was the teardown and rebuild? I have a hunch it's a pain. You might be able to use hot melt glue to hold it in place. You would need to take it apart.
iSticks have had weak USB ports since the 20w. I reinforced all of mine with 2 part epoxy because people were reporting failures.
The tear down is really simple. Unscrew the top and bottom (take out battery firsthow complicated was the teardown and rebuild? I have a hunch it's a pain.
I noticed that the chimney on the Serpent Mini is quite narrow. The Stock DT even though it tapers down seems wider than the chimney. I like the width of the stock DT but not the height. Are you looking for mouth-feel vs. airflow?
Because you're limited by the design of the tank and the Lil' Serpent's chimney stack is fairly restricted. Actually, having a peek just now... it's very tight.

What I'm looking for are DTs that are as wide as the stock one (maybe a little bit wider as well) but a little taller. Also in either Acrylic or Delrin so they wouldn't heat up.
