Thanks, S_P! That's just what I wanted to see. I could live with that. Too bad it doesnt sit flush, though. Have you tried vaping it?

Funny how the Atomic looks huge on the istick, huh?

BTW, I like your wrap.

I can't believe how fast this thread is moving! All this fuss over a little ol disposable...that I really love

I really like the fact that I can hold it with the rounded part in the cradle of thumb and index finger and use the index to fire it with a gentle press. Or can turn it around and fire it with the thumb.

Just got mine as well: A black full kit from Avid Vapor.

Was a bit smudged from the factory, so, as I do with my mechanicals, I gave it a good wipe down and then powered it up. I can't believe how light it is as compared to a 18650 mech with battery, or even against the MVPs. Easy to hold and doesn't feel top heavy (although it is) with a KFL+ clone on top. It does hit hard. I had to back down to 8W on my 1.1 ohm KFL tanks (mostly due to 2 bad wick jobs; a third performed flawlessly at 11 watts). Overall, it's love at first vape.

I am going to take it to work with me tonight and see how well it survives in my pocket, as well as performance over a prolonged period. About a week ago while at work, I had my locking ring unlock and my mech fired inside my pants pocket and destroyed the wick and began to melt the insulator inside my KFL clone. That's what prompted me to finally place my iStick order. I was never comfortable with the MVP's raised 510 connection even with a beauty ring; I also felt like there was a chance I might snap the 510 connection on my tank. And the MVP is kind of noticeably heavy in the pocket.

Happy with the build quality and the stealthiness of the iStick.

Oh, I also read the enclosed instructions. For anyone talking about the warranty... in the footnotes, it states that the warranty is voided IF you use a non-Eleaf product with your iStick. So if you want to keep the warranty, use only a LEMO and not a KLF+ :)

Err Avid Vapor is now out of all colors :(

I know (and I'm sorry for you). I seem to have gotten one of the last black ones.

Eciggity has all colors in stock as of last night.

Ya, how dare you :D AV was selling the full kit with the usb cable, so if I find it elsewhere and need to get the usb charger, what kind goes with it?

A couple of years ago I bought some (ok...a lot of them) bulk Joye atties...
They just weren't what I was used to with a Joye atty...they were poor...never put them to a meter tho...I am curious to see if I will now be able to use them on this.

Might be worth a shot... ;)

Eciggity is $39.99 for the battery only. I think all colors are currently available.

Indy Vape Shop is $42.95 for the full kit, which includes ego adapter, USB cable & wall wart (1amp?). I think only black, silver & red are available at the moment.

I think 10% off coupons can be found for both vendors.

VapeNW on eBay has all the colors in stock for $35.99 shipped. I ordered one on Thursday and got a tracking # in a couple of hours. They didn't drop it off until Friday when the first scan showed up on USPS but still due to arrive earlier than expected. Should be here Monday rather than Tues. They had 10 sold when I ordered and just checked and there's 129 sold now.

You can pre-order for $32 from them too. Not sure how that works though if they have them in stock.

Hi Hammy. Yeah I'm about 45 minutes from Mojo Vapes and I picked up 2 Isticks this afternoon.

Note to all here: I'm insanely fussy (OCD) about details with QC, even cheap stuff, which is why I prefer to buy from a local B&M if possible so I can analyze and test everything. I picked up a silver and black. The black was fine but the 1st silver had a slightly crooked display. The 2nd had a good display but had a couple noticeable flaws in the case casting. The 3rd was just right. Gee I feel like Goldilocks :D

Shortly after I left I noticed the non-firing button issue. Having read this thread I immediately kept pressure on the button and pressed even harder but still no fire and no display. I then released the button and it clicked as normal when releasing any other time. I felt quite sure my finger was in the middle of the button. So I guess its still a bit of a mystery and hasn't happened again since.

Initially both Isticks appeared fully charged and as others have mentioned, I also noticed that I had to set the voltage lower than I do on any of my other devices to get the same strength of hit.
I then checked my black one which still appears fully charged and just now I tried a Kanger Aerotank Mini on it with the 1.5 ohm dual coil which for me can never be pushed past 3.7 - 4 volts max without tasting burnt. I set the Istick at 3 volts and sure enough it hit hard and the juice was popping like it was about to explode but oddly it didn't taste burnt.
I then put a fresh battery in my Sigelei Legend V2 and set it to 3 volts and the hit on that same tank/coil was quite weak.
So regardless of how the Istick is readng its voltage, I can clearly see why many users are saying it hits too hard on some of their setups compared to all their other devices.
As others have mentioned, I will just ignore the settings and simply adjust it to taste, and since I mostly use consumer coils in several Nautilus Minis and an Emow Mega tank, all of which start out at 1.8 ohm and quickly go to 2 ohm after a bit of use, its so far hitting perfectly for me every time. I'll just reserve the Aerotank/1.5 ohm tank for my matching Evod VV batts which adjusts voltage perfectly for that tank.

Glad you got in on them Mortis. My wife is from Lindsay originally so I know the town well. I had the button problem twice on the way home and once today. Not a big deal at considering what you get for the money. They said they will give a 3 month warranty as well so not bad.

As for the aerotank I rebuild with micro coils and cotton. They work very well on it but I am sticking to the nautilus mini and maybe a mini Kayfun in the future.

I agree about the button. If it only happens once or twice a day, then its still a great performer for the money.

Yeah Mojo Vapes has been an excellent shop with some of the best prices around for a B&M. They also have a good selection and usually get the latest gear pretty quick. Also very good to get their in-house 3 month warranty.

My order from Avid arrived this afternoon (right when I got back from a trip to a new B&M, perfect timing!). This thing is as advertised. Works wonderfully, perfect fit with my Ivogo Baby (17mm version of the kayfun mini). I agree with others, it seems to deliver more power for a given setting than expected. (2 ohm coil, compared to an Itaste VV3). Feels like its about a half watt higher in power delivery at a given voltage than the VV3. (8 watts on VV3 vs 7.5 on iStick, subjectively giving the "same" vape experience)

I have NO complaints so far. I will be buying more. It feels very solid and gives the feel and appearance of a quality product.

I have access to a digital o'scope at work. If no one else has gotten to it yet I will post traces of its output in buck and boost mode sometime next week.
