Exactly my philosophy. I'm supporting a local business, and said business isn't out to gouge anyone. There are juices they don't carry that I order online, but for the most part I'm happy to pay full price for everything I get in return. Still cheaper than smoking.I agree Blaize....I've had B&M businesses in the past and can only feel empathy for them. After rent (plus first, last and security deposit), utilities, quarterly taxes, start-up capital, accountant fees, permits, DBA costs, LLC fees, liability insurance... etc. etc..There is little left for the pocket.
I shop at local Vape Shops in my area Knowing it will cost more, but I don't have to wait and I can actually look and touch the item and get personal help with any issues it might have. Plus the fact that I have saved so much money by Vaping, I guess I can throw a little of it around.
Nice to see you here Kat, your presence always brightens my dayTears welling.
I SO understand, and feel the same way.
Yes even after a few years, and a 'few' posts.![]()
Katdarling, You are an inspiration to me. I have come across a few threads with your beautiful devices that are seriously drool worthy. I Loooooove them all! ALOTTTTT!!! I will be getting my istick any day and hope that I can pick your brain on ways to make it "Katdarling Approved"
Please keep us updated with how your iStick behaves. That does seem to be odd, but I am having a similar problem. I got mine on Friday, and had to charge it Saturday night for the first time. It never hit cut off, but was really really close. I vaped close to 5 mils on it in that time at a pretty low wattage, 10-12 watts. I would have thought I would have gotten a bit more life between charges, but still not a deal breaker. I have heard many others rave about how long the battery lasts, even with a lower resistance head at higher wattages. Mind you mine was the bvc 1.8 ohm head.
I am using the charger that came with my MVP v2, the one with 4 different ports on it, and plugged into my pc. I am hoping maybe it is just having a break in period as many batteries with this type of chemistry do. Also, i have always been told to run it completely down or very close to between cycles to extend the life of the battery.
Time will tell with this little beast of a device, I hope it pulls through! But if not, only paid 35 bucks for it, so no real loss!
Just an update on the charging of my iStick. I used it a little this morning until the charge level changed and put it back on charge. The battery icon just flashed on and off as it would to indicate less than 10% battery. I left it on and went about work. I checked it 30 minutes later and the charge indicator was off. It is working normally and it did charge back up. Not sure why the charge indicator would change from charging to just flashing but it seems to be working none the less. In a couple of days I will need to charge it again and we will see if it charges normally.

Are you charging it while still turned on, or do you first turn it off (5 clicks)? I ask because if its turned off during the charge, the battery icon rotates length-wise on the display and almost fills the screen. It will also flashes the number of bars to indicate level and status of charge. Shortly before fully charged, all the bars will flash at the same time and then the screen will go blank to indicate fully charged and off.
If you haven't tried it turned off while charging, this is just a suggestion as its easier to monitor what's happening during the charge process. If left on, there's only a tiny battery icon which doesn't display as much information.
Welp! Didn't YOU just make my day! Thank you so much, xlaney! What a sweet thing to say.
Abstolutely... my brain is free to be picked clean, but please be aware there's not too much in it.
Thank you again! {{{xlaney}}}

My wrapped iSticks, Greyson and Woodie LOL!! (yes, the Evod on "Woodie" is wrapped too. I have so much fun with 3M DI-NOC!)![]()
There is really no "cut" ISG. It is just a simple rectangle. I just layed the iStick on a piece of paper and marked the dimensions. I do leather work so the "spot" on the firing button is a little square of kangaroo leather glued (carefully) on.
