Same here. istick didn't set a lot standards in other areas and left a few things to be desired, but it does convincingly demonstrate that there is a sizable group of vapers that enjoy the small form factor. It is easy to carry, easy to conceal, easy to use, and that opens the door to a lot of less experienced users. At least for the nearest future, I think the box mod that goes the "small" route will be measured against the istick

I'm waiting for the VaporShark rDNA 40 to come out. It's smaller than a MVP2 but bigger than an Istick. The features of the slightly larger VS rDNA appeal to me, mainly the Evolv DNA 40, removable battery and wireless charging all in a package smaller than the MVP.

If a Pre-Order like the one I linked to is going for 80 Bucs, then I would say the final Mass Market Price should be about 50 or 55.

For that price, I would consider it.

For $150? No Friggin Way.

I think even at $50, it's not worth it to me. They'll be competing with Hana clones at that size and price. Some of the reasons I held back from ordering a Cloupor was the size, clone chip and hot glue holding everything together. I know the Istick has a clone chip too but at $35, it was worth trying out since it was so small.

Well I got two responses from VapeNW today. Here is what they had to say, tell me if it makes any sense to you all lol.

Dear rybanshee,

VapeNW---So I am still waiting on red isticks, I can send the other tank to you, i have have red isticks today and can send both items to you

----- Original Message -----
What I sent them------I sent an email to your gmail address, not sure if this is the same. I ordered 2 iSticks and 2 Nautilus Mini's. I only received one battery, the blue one, and one tank. I am missing my other Nautilus Mini and my pink iStick. Others on the electronic cigarette forum guided me to buy from you as they all had a great experience. I attached some photos for you if you would like to have a look.

Thanks,
Ryan

And here is the second email from them

Ryan we are very sorry, The pink istick did not ship because I am awaiting a shipment. I can sedn the replacement tank out now or with the pink istick when it shows up

So it seems they are going to make things right either way. Funny how the two emails completely contradict themselves. Guess it's time to play the waiting game.

It all gets down to what you Want and Like.

I had Horrible Luck with Hana Clones. And they don't go Lower than 7W. You also need a Screw Driver to take the Battery Out.

I like the Concept of being about to Swap-Out the Battery for a Fresh one before I walk out the Door. I also like that the IPV Mini is Supposed to be able to do 5W.

Now... The 5W may be from VAVG like the iStick does. But for 50 Bones, I would Probably buy one.

They are out of red iSticks. I know. I looked last night. Rock Bottom is out too. I'm sure you'll get your stick soon!

Just don't tell Kat that I've been looking--I don't want her to know.

Peer pressure... ;)

When I got my istick a few weeks ago, I posted that it lasted 24 hours on my first charge.

I've noticed that that number has been dropping. My vaping frequency hasn't changed (I vape all day), but it's not lasting as long. I usually charge it overnight and last week I noticed that the battery was drained by 7PM (I typically start vaping around 8am).

Today, I started using my fully charged istick at about 7:45am this morning. As of 5:15pm it's completely drained and I had to plug it in. That's less than 10 hours of charge.

Anyone else noticing this?

Additional info: I vape various juices, usually at around 12 watts on my 1.8ohm BVC's. I usually charge from the off state, but not always - doesn't seem to make a difference.

Well, when I ordered them on the 22nd, they were not marked out of stock! Just my luck.

Interesting, I will keep an eye on how mine behaves in the next few weeks. Although a bit of a bummer, at least it is not doing what my mvp2 started doing around the 3 week mark. It would never display a charge lower than 4.0, but I could tell it needed charging because my vape would be extremely weak feeling. Now no matter what I put on it, I swear it is maybe hitting 5 watts max. Great battery life still a year later, but so damn weak it renders useless.

Yep. The bad reviews didn't help the Hana clones either. The VS battery door has a screw but that doesn't bother me as I'll most likely be charging via wireless or usb. Having the option to swap the battery was important.

It looks like the IPV Mini uses a SXxxx chip (SX130) so it will most likely have the same limitations.

If I didn't already have a rDNA 40 reserved at VS, I might be more interested in the IPV Mini at $50 but the DNA 40 is really interesting. I already bought Ni200 wire. I don't think I'm interested in getting another mod for a while. Maybe another Istick as a backup/spare since it's so cheap.

Funny, I spent a few months debating and researching Hana clones at ~$70 and still didn't get one but it took less than a week to decide to get a rDNA 40 for ~$200. Now if they would only start shipping...

After 3 weeks, I still usually get about 12-14 hrs on mine (about 5ml of juice). I had a KFL+ with a 1.7 ohm coil at 6-7w for the last 2 weeks.

Yes, I have noticed a difference, although I'm not running wattage that high, so obviously I am going to get more time out of mine.

Just to report back - got my second iStick today from Rock Bottom Vapes. Ordered Thursday afternoon late, shipped notification Friday morning. Got the full kit today. I love the cobalt blue of the new one. Gonna let a coworker try out my first black one now

Out of curiosity, which shipping did you go with? I ordered mine Saturday and got the notification today. So I'm starting to get antsy with anticipation

Everyone is waiting until the blinking battery light goes Out and the screen is Black for a full charge, right?

Not a full looking battery showing on the main screen...

I vape 6ml daily @ maybe 4.5W and have only drained it down to the halfway mark once in 24hrs. Charges fully in about 2hrs with 1 Amp charger.
