I do hope people understand the adapter is to be used for ego threaded devices and not needed for regular 510 atties. Unless .........:toast:

I hated the look and took mine off. I'll take my chances with the thing, given what we paid for them.

Hmmm..... understood, but I'm using them for 510 threads. I figured why not protect them a bit? Couldn't hurt, right?

(plus it's a shameless excuse for rings and charms...) ;)

Then there's THAT...

It's showing up now.

My Istick came in the same box with the adapter but no cable. I have tons of cable so it doesn't bother me. I'm currently using a 1.8a Blackberry charger to charge my Istick every night and no issues. I've checked an hour into a charge and it was barely warm. My connector is perfectly straight.

I made it public now. Not sure if it works from the original post, so just in case here is a new one. Nothing to fancy! Although I am wondering if anyone else has a slightly angled 510 connection.

It showed up in the original post.

I think there were a few that reported crooked connections.

I have 2 iSticks and neither of them have any thread issues. I rewick daily and refill probably 3-4 times a day so my Atty is being taken off and on a LOT. Absolutely nothing wrong with either of the connection threading. I leave my Kayfun Mini attached and in my pocket all day at work or wherever I go. Come to think of it, the only time I've ever had a thread issue on ANY device was on a Vision Spinner, and it was my fault because I cross threaded it.

Tech, is Noalox a non-conductive grease? If not, what is, please?

The non-conductive lube I use on the threads may not be available in the US, only Canada. You folks may be surprised but its called Rustcheck. Its an organically based penetrative liquid that's mostly used to rustproof cars and outdoor machinery, and it works wonderfully on so many things that I can't imagine being without it. I've been using it for several decades to protect and lube everything from my cars to the potentiometers and switched in very high end home-audio equipment. I mean hundreds of things from cheap stuff to uber expensive electronics and precision machinery, and it protects and lubricates for a good long while. I tell ya, this sh#t is almost magical!

Edit: ok I just checked and it looks to be available in a few eastern states.

I don't know about using grease in such a small pitched thread. Any grease you put in there will surely get squeezed out. If anything, maybe a drop or two of some good bearing type oil after a good cleaning. With my mods, I always hit the threads with a brass brush, and then blow them off with my air compressor. Then I put a drop of some good bearing oil on them, and enjoy the butter. :D

I looked at the grommet, because I had that happen with an ohm reader. It seemed fine. I did send it back. Well, it's in the mailbox waiting to be picked up tomorrow. They said they'd exchange it or offer credit if it was out of stock. Last I looked they were out of stock, so now I have to find something at Vapor Tek to buy. In the email they seemed fine about the return though, so I'm hoping it goes through okay.

I'm glad they are taking it back.

I wonder if the rush to market led to poor manufacturing practices, like the care of the thread cutting dies. I do hope eleaf addresses this issue. I'd buy a quality top cap if it was offered.

I just started having problems with my threads on my blue IStick. It was fine until I took it to the beach last weekend. It was a windy day and some sand blew into my mini nautilus and then got on the threads. I didn't drop it in the sand or anything. I've had it about a month. I used an alcohol wipe to clean it up tonight, but looks like I'll be babying it from now on. My red Istick, only 2 weeks old, is fine so far....

OK, I'm serious here. My thumb still hurts!
It's locked when I wake up in the morning and pops/hurts every time I bend it.
I was hoping it was surfing on the phone while on vacation,(right after I got my istick) but I haven't been on the phone for a week.
Yeah, I know, put the damn istick down.
Seriously, Has anyone else had this problem?
I've been vaping left handed. I'm going to have to go to a chiropractor to find out how to relieve this!

I think Noalox is a great lubricant for the threads. Just a lil dab ill do ya! :D Got an Erlk clone for one of my Sticks today. It's a nice vape! Like the iStick, I can't believe how light this thing is...
