Just got an Erlkonigin clone delivered yesterday. Gotta love vape mail. I'm loving it! Better VTF than my KFL+ v2 clones. Can't get it to leak!!! $21, shipped from AngelCigs.

I have looked at the Erlk, but after following a couple threads on it, it seems like a large PITA to get the wicking right. Plus I would like the option to run dual coils if I wanted to.

This is not the standard drip tip, or top cap, but you get the idea. Tank is standard Orchid tank.

Thank you for the pictures. It doesn't look that bad at all.

My processing didn't stick, but they were out of iSticks, so I scored a Innokin VTR for $35....unbelievable price...:toast:

Stosh, I'm not sure if you're familiar (not assuming anything mind you) that Innokin products have an authentication code on the packaging. If you would be so kind, once you get that VTR, go to the Innokin website and verify it is authentic. I recently bought one from a "reputable" authorized Innokin distributor and it went south in 5 weeks. They of course would not back up their sale so I searched out someone who works on Innokin products. I didn't know about the authentication thing so I had thrown my box out. However, once inside the device he said he discovered it was a fake made by Funu Electronics. I don't know anything about that, but would definitely be interested in learning if you got the real deal for that price.

I've read all the Erl threads, and like most other atomizers needs to be built correctly, it is not hard at all, and the atomizer is a winner. When I got my Erl I just built it and had no issues, some say it is difficult to build, I completely disagree, super easy to get the coil mounted, a few seconds trimming the wick, prime it, and you've got one of the best vapes out there! Its a bit of an ugly duckling, but size, and weight (32 grams) make up for its lacking profile.

The Orchid works fine on the Istick at least mine does, just have to build it with the Istick limitations in mind.

Well, I missed the ridiculous sale on ecig, but scored one on evape.us for right around 40 including priority shipping. I currently use spinners and twists with a protank 3 mini dual coil at 1.8 ohm. My birthday and 2 year vaping anniversary just passed, so I figured what the heck. I have had an evic, a k100, an mvp, none of them really did it for me, I like a tiny stealthy vape, so I am psyched! Thanks for all the insight in this thread!

It's good to reward yourself. Too bad you missed the sale, but it's worth $40. For what I recall paying for an Echo, Ego-C kit, and iTaste, this is the best money I've spent.

I am personally enjoying drippers on the iStick. I have tried many different resistances, and 1.4 ohm seems to really shine. It allows 19 watts of power, although I stick around 15, and it still gets fantastic battery life. This picture doesn't do much justice as I have tiny hands. Very stealthy and solid, and 22 mm drippers only hang off a tiny bit on the screen edge, so it really is no issue. Give your drippers a whirl on it!

Also finally trying some DIY! So far I have one recipe that is a winner, Sugar Bear from Cuttwood clone! YUMMY!

1.4 ohms should give you the full 20 watts on your iStick. Is it limiting you to 19?

Haven't received it yet, but the price is due to the 1/2 price store-wide sale ..ecig.com Home page...is having. They seem to be offering quite a number of high priced, well known mods, and juice on their grand opening sale.

I'll see when it arrives....

Well, I would assume that my 1.4 is closer to 1.46, therefore limiting my the 0.7 watts that I am missing out on. I would expect if you can get 20 watts on your 1.4 ohm build, it is probably because it is closer to 1.4. Not sure if the resistance reader in the device rounds up or what not. I would know for sure, but my last ohm reader crapped out, so waiting on my new one to get here. Then I will have a more accurate reading. Would be nice if these devices would read to the second decimal number. I don't think asking for one more digit is too much! :D

I didn't even think to look at their liquid. That last $30K was moving slow since they ran out of the good stuff.
I wonder how long ago they bought that URL?? Good forethought.
I got an istick, a couple of tanks, & heads. I like the free shipping. It's a good way to get their name out.

It was worth risking $35 for a VTR that I usually see going for $70-$100.....used a Shop Safe credit card number, so that's safe and I've bet more than $35 on a double gutshot straight draw playing poker....worth a chance....::2cool:

Last night, after I had placed two orders, for two isticks, and then for some Nauty's, I got greedy and tried to place an order for 6 bottles of various Suicide Bunny/Kings Crown juices. Could never get the 52% discount to make it through checkout. Tried logging out, and then filling my order, but when I filled out my info, it always reverted back to full price. Guess they decided I'd gotten enough good deals! lol

best regards, larry mac

Got my istick back 2 days ago from Avid Vapor after it had a button firing issue.
This is what they said happened:

it appears there was a wire that was not properly routed in a groove cut in the circuit board, which in turn caused the circuit board to misaligned with the fire button causing misfiring

Well, in anycase, i'm glad they fixed the issue, the button fires like a dream and I recommend "Avid Vapor" for they certainly
have people over there that know what their doing, and whole thing took about 10 days sending to them, then getting it back to me.

I missed that dam istick alot.
