I am going crazy waiting for the 2 isticks I pre-ordered on 11/2. I ordered before I read much of this thread, and unfortunately I went with Vapor Outlet on ebay. When I pre-ordered it said they probably wouldn't ship until 11/17, and I was ok with that, was in no hurry. But then, I got a shipping notice email & tracking number on 11/5, so I got really excited. But It's now 11/9 and the tracking still reads "Pre shipment info sent to USPS" with an estimated ETA of 11/17.

Again, this wouldn't bother me, but 3 days after I initially got a tracking number, they were showing in stock and gave an approximate delivery date of 11/13! Now why are new buyers getting an in stock item that says it will arrive before the one I pre-ordered several days before that? Ugh. I know they will arrive at some point, I'm just ticked that they seem to have printed my ship label and then proceeded to sit on it for 4 days now.

Well the Istick has hit over on fasttech, a bit expensive considering pricing available elsewhere, has the Euro charger, and will have shipping restrictions due to internal battery. May be an option for some parts of the world with favorable exchange rates, or limited availability.

Well, the expected delay, as it was with batteries, would be unbearable (more than four months to Spain without any plane involved...), but here the cheapest iStick available is at about 36€, and now it shows up at 26€, and with the trade mark of the house 'free shipping worldwide'.

It's even below the custom's declaration in Spain!

I won't bite that....I won't bite that....I won't bite that...

P.S.: OMG! It includes the wall power supply, USB cord, et. al...... It's 42€ against 26€!.....

Yeah! The wall power supply is just available as Euro plug...... and they have fuchsia ones.....

I ran mine dead and recharged it and it seems to be fine now. Kind of a reboot I guess.

I've charged it twice, the charge bar didn't go off either time. I didn't keep track of how long it was on, but it seemed like it had been plenty of time and the wall wart was pretty warm. When I turned it on, the batt showed full charge, so maybe it does have an issue. Not one I can't live with.

All colors are "Temporarily sold out".

I wonder if this is any indication of the worldwide popularity of the iStick?

Figured out something interesting over the last few days. I had been complaining of my terrible battery life compared to what most of you all are getting. I was getting about 8 hrs max here recently. I also have been slowly reducing my nicotine level. When I received my istick I was down to 2mg and I do diy so I finally took it down to 0 MG . I Wasn't getting the same satisfaction and I have to pay smoker rates on my insurance premiums anyway so I said the heck with it and went back up to 5mg here the last few days. Well since that move my battery life is now almost double. As I had stated hundreds and hundreds of post back I always seem to take a 8 to 10 second draw but I was doing it often. I'm probably still doing long draws but not near as often because I'm getting my nic fix now and I can finally make it thru a full day on one overnight charge. Just thought I'd share this in case someone else may have a similar experience with their battery.

Heads up for anyone who bought an iStick that was supplied with a 3-pin UK wall charger.

If your charger (AC/DC adapter) is Model number: JD-050-050 DO NOT USE IT. The charger I received came in a yellow box with the word "Charger" printed in black on one side.

There is a risk of electric shock.

"The adapter poses a risk of electric shock because the electrical insulation is not sufficient. The internal supply wires and mains conductor pins are not fixed adequately to maintain their position.

The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant standards of EN 60950."

Popularity of iStick and Fasttech. :D

I've been watching their prices steadily rise over the last year and a half. When I first ordered from Fasttech (I only ordered twice or three times total, over a year ago), their prices were about 30-50% lower than ours, everything was usually in stock, and they offered free shipping. Now, FT's prices are almost the same as ours if not higher. When shopping for my first Aerotank, I found a better price in the US. My MVP was also cheaper here than on Fasttech--at the time. I also found a better price on Amazon for a Nitecore charger.

Just sayin.'

Just got my IStick and like it so far. Built a single 2.0 ohm coil in a Atomic rda and running it @ "15 watts". Definitely a worthy setup for rebuilables with a laid back vape that still puts out clouds.

The only thing that's bothering me is that the 510 connection is a little crooked. It's very noticeable with the Atomic rda since it doesn't sit flush.

Can somebody tell me where I should buy the istick from? I was about to pull the trigger at vapingcheap.com because the $32 price and I need to get and MVP 2 for a friend and they have both so I could save on shipping. The problem is that i read the reviews for them and they were hit and miss to say the least. Can anybody recommend a good place to get authentic Mvps and isticks at a reasonable price? Thanks for the help...

I got a blue one from ebay user uvape, and now have a pink one coming from smartvapes. Smartvapes says they have the istick back in stock and shipping. I got my shipping notice today.

That explains all the problems folks have been having with the positive pin. You would think they would have at least used a nylon or silicone grommet to insulate the pin instead of just squirting some crap in there. That's gotta be the reason for the all the shorts........Thank you very much for the great pics and info.

I agree. I've never seen a center pin insulated with glue--or whatever that thing is.

I've taken 3 Isticks apart thus far, and all of them have a silicon insulator, it is crap, but it is present. The silicon goop is not all there is to the 510 center pin insulator.

A little chewed up, but clearly present.

Pretty sure I saw an O-ring under the pin as well when I inserted the new one in there. Dunno where people are getting this caulking thing from. I didn't even take the old one out.

I've had a seller do this before. Just a little prep work being done. They created the shipping labels and prepared the packaging so when they do get them in stock, they can just insert, seal, and ship.

Is the in-stock price the same as you paid for a pre-order? When I purchased mine, the pre-order was $30.99 and the in stock one was $35.99. The $5 premium was worth it for me because my MVP was really starting to act funny.
