There is no link between Alzheimer's & aluminum. It is a classic story of bad research design & is taught in all methodology courses as a warning. The myth started when brain slices with and without Alzheimer's were studied. The only difference found was higher levels of aluminum in the Alzheimer's brains. The error: the slices without Alzheimer's were in steel trays in the lab, the slices with Alzheimer's were stored on aluminum trays. The aluminum leaked into the brain tissue. Hence, the erroneous connection between aluminum & Alzheimer's.

Just like any news story, the story itself is loud & proud, any retraction is relegated to a short snippet in the back of the newspaper. Many people remain unaware to the retraction & still teach that aluminum causes Alzheimer's.
I was fairly sure that the aluminum hypothesis was debunked. Alzheimer's runs in my family also. My mother and one of her sisters had it and now my cousin (my mother's sister's daughter) is showing symptoms.

Given how high the levels of aluminum found in the Alzheimer's samples were, aluminum would have been severely restricted by now. It was like 2000% higher!!! What a mess of a study!

I would, tibs, but it appears, chanel no. vapes beat me to the punch (and thanks!). I've been a bit busy celebrating my dear friend's 3 year Vape-A-Versary.

One thing, or shall I say one of the things, I like about the AFC is that they ARE adjustable. So if there's a gap (the dreaded "gaposis") between the adapter and your tank, you can screw the AFC counter clockwise to raise it up to meet the bottom of your tank.

Me likes. ;)

There was a review posted today for the eLeaf iStick bending adapter. I looked and didn't find it posted here yet. It appears the folding adapter is spring loaded.

Sorry if this has already been posted and I missed it.

Thanks, I could have sworn I've seen that before in this thread, but the video showing how it actually works is great.

Kind of makes me wish I didn't change the O-ring on my istick, but that thing is pre-release and I wasn't going to continue to screw around with the pin and a screwdriver any longer. I'll buy it for $14.95 or less, and I bet that's going to be the price for it, or $19.99 retail.

But it would be nice if the V2 was coming out sometime soon with that built in, and the voltage thing fixed. I'd definitely buy another one and pay up to 50 bucks for it.

I signed up for the e-mail notification at sweetvapes since they appear to have the best price for everything except ebay, and are pretty competitive too.

Received my two iSticks today and so far I can't put it down. I love them. Small, powerful, fits well in my hand and feels solid which I like. I also really like that this is usb chargeable. I am using it with a Nautilus Mini. No review on battery life yet but will see how it goes. I'm coming from a Vamo V5, vision spinner VVs and a couple of Ego minis for perspective. I got the full kit (wall and usb charger) for I believe $32. Maybe can get it cheaper, I don't know but I didn't feel like chasing a couple of dollars.
