Got a heads-up for all you stickers out there. I bought a 52,000 mah power bank today that came with a USB. Not sure what happened next, but, the power banks lights suddenly went out while trying to charge it. Thinking it might be the fault of the supplied USB cord that came with it , I plugged it into my istick.......now my istick won't charge at all, no matter what USB cord I use!! The wall wart is the same one I've been using all along. My guess is that the USB is an older style or something and not compatible with the istick. When I try to charge the istick, It shows a full battery icon (not blinking) then when I pull out the USB the battery icon shows half charge, even after several hours. I fried something in the charging system by using an incompatible USB. I used this istck for 9 weeks with no issues 'till now...May it RIP.. Be careful.

Update; The pass-through function finally stopped working as the battery fully drained out and the OLED read Locked:cry:. Now it won't even turn on. When I get some time I will perform surgery on the little guy and see what I can do to revive him. I did order another one from VAPORKINGS...... $30 for a full kit, not bad!.... plus $5.50 shipping in a USPS Priority box, which is what USPS charges anyway.

Since you already have 2 iSticks...you could cancel the order and consider the IPV Mini...about $10 more than the iStick...but about the same size of the iStick, YiHi SX-130 30Watt board, RMS regulation, replaceable 18650 battery and spring-loaded 510 connection.

hmmm, am I the only one who did not spend any $$ on vaping gear during the break??!! I do have to say, all of the deals posted in the last 30 pages looked attractive, glad I did not see them before they expired

All I got was some juice from Steam Co. I couldn't resist 40% off, and I love me some Gentleman's Reserve. Basically, it's the poor man's Castle Long Reserve. ;)

In keeping with the subject of the thread, I also picked up an eGo cone cover/skirt to use with the iStick adapter to give it a clean look when using 510 threaded tanks/clearos, as I refuse to use the iStick without the adapter so I can preserve the threads as long as possible.

I'm waiting for reviews, but I remember seeing the side by side comparison if it and istick....it just seemed too large. I realize that is a bit silly; but I've become istick-spoiled. Anyone have that pic? I can't find it online.

I think it's about 20 mm taller than the istick. Too big for me.

I received an email today from Vapor Tek about 3 new Kamry mods. A 20 watt "iStick killer", a 100 watt and a 200 watt! Email sends the reader to Kamry's site for specs. On my phone or would provide links. I can post them tomorrow if anyone is interested. These are pre orders expected in January.

The new Kamry 20w is basically a DNA20 chipset. It still doesn't regulate much below battery voltage. If you're loving the iStick, a DNA20 type device should perform similarly... If you're looking for a device truly able to fire 3-3.7v, neither the new Kamry or the iStick are for you. Look at the iPv Mini instead...

Late to this party but finally got an iStick today! Pairs perfect with my Nautilus mini. I have a MVP 2.0 which is awesome but I couldn't resist the iStick any longer. I love it. I have skimmed the thread and heard a lot of good things and decided to get it. Thanks y'all. I've also heard a lot about it firing much higher than the set voltage. I noticed this a little but not much. I just set mine by flavor.

Is there a bendable adapter (like this) for other mods?

That's an interesting question since this was the "First Time Item" for any mod seen so far despite searching the web on a large variety of mods. I don't think it would be a good idea trying to file down the tabs that were designed to match up with the grooves on the iStick since this was maniufactured specially for this mod alone taking into account the physical dimensions. It is meant to use as designed not the way someone suggested filing things down on it.

That's a shame since this has been a great little guy since I first got it in. But I ran into this type of problem with other pass-through VV/VW batteries(eGo-V V3 Mega being one) that let go prematurely and suspect you got into one with a defect as I had indicated earlier. The Smok Groove II let go prematurely as well once I started using that mod nightly for after dinner late night vaping. No matter how good something is made a few bad ones out of a mass quantity will be found with some type of defect. It happens in every form of manufacturing and why there are usually some type of warranty periods for manufacturer's defects.

I ran the full size Natilus on the first iStick without any problem to allow it to be turned up. That wouldn't be the usual idea but wanted to try both out since both came in on the same day. I run with the Smoke Tumblers on it not having the Nautilus mini I will likely pick up sooner or later since you can fill over 3ml in the Tumblers compared to the 2ml capacity on the mini.

You practically don't even need the user manual since it is a lot easier to work with then other more advanced APVs, mods, etc. Click 5 times on - 5 times off- 3 times to show volts - 3 times to change back to watts.. Hold either up or down button and it will go up or down automatically after a few seconds until you press the reverse button. How difficult is that? I have a link for good YouTube review if I can find that again that explains it all in detail.

UPDATE: EleafUS now has the bending adapter listed for only $6.99!!

Storewide Black Friday sale continues until 12-02-2014, 30% OFF with code BFRIDAY.

Once I saw the bending adapter listed, I cast my lot for my second iStick, this time in blue and picked up 2 bending adapters. The cost with included shipping was just under $48!

That's less than what I would have spent over @ Sweet Vapes for nearly the same items (SV has the full kit for less than EleafUS basic kit, but charges $3 more per adapter). And I got a free bottle of eliquid from EleafUS, and the peace of mind of ordering directly from the manufacturer just in case I have issues down the road.

Simple solution to the Istick's weakest points being the 510 pin and the threads. 1. use the 510 adapter that comes with it and put a beauty ring like the one that comes with the nautilus mini over the ego threads. 2. buy a 510 airflow control adapter (lower profile than number 1.) both add a little bit of height to the device but not enough to take away from it's compact design. Most importantly you have just extended the life of your Istick considerably since these seem to be the two most common failures of the device.

I tested that out today, and my KFL clone's resistance rose nearly .5 ohm. Took the atty off and checked the iStick; it read 0 ohms. Placed the atty back on, and the resistance was still recorded as higher than it was. I guess it's one way to run it if you like slightly sub-ohm builds :)

I hope I don't have the same issue with the newly purchased bending adapter.

I was checking out eleafus website after seeing this and decided to look at their FAQ's. Some of their FAQ's include questions like "What is the cost of relocating my Comcast Cable account?" and the answer to that question talked about specs of the Nikon D300 camera. I don't think I want to trust ordering from a website that copies random stuff for their FAQ, lol.

Who would have thought that they owned Canon, HP, and Comcast? But I quite enjoyed the specs of the Samsung tablet.
