Got my istick 30w today and it's awesome.

I'm going to use a 510 to 510 adapter to help save the threads with GS Air.

Do you think that's being too cautious and unnecessary?

I don't use anything on my iStick 30. I tried it with my Emow and the GS Air--no problems whatsoever, the 510 connection seems sturdy, no connectivity issues whatsoever. I believe it has a floating pin--somebody please correct me if I'm mistaken. I haven't poked the pin to test it. :p

I received juice from Vapor Bomb today too....I wonder what the post office thought...(or mailman, who is already stumped regarding all the packages I've been receiving lately)...... :D

Think if I owned "Vapor Bomb", I would use VB as the name on the return address......:2cool:

I have a buddy I simply refuse to eat mexican with because he is a vapor bomb shortly thereafter!

GAHHHHH!!! I have GOT to stop reading this thread. Every time I think I'm done buying vape gear you people suck me right back in.
Ok, who's gonna explain this latest addition to my arsenal to my husband?
:sneaky:

To tell you the truth...I'm not overly enthused about the 50w iStick...just doesn't feel right using it....perhaps I'm too accustomed to the vapor shark.

I surely recommend the iStick 30w though.

I waited to see what you thought of the GS Air then I grabbed one before there were none left.

Yeah it's probably silly to use an 510 extender. The threads do feel good. Well machined. Just worried if It strips then the batt is worthless.

IDK it's my first mod and I think it's pretty awesome even with just CE5s. Can't wait for a real tank.

Thanks for all the updates and info you provided for the thread. They really helped me out.

And thanks to the person who recommended rocky mountain vapor--fast free shipping. I didn't get the upgrade to priority but with the 15%( promo code "forum" ) off and free ship it came to less than $33 for full kit with box and auth sticker(havent check it though)

Just got my 50w. Went from a 100 w Segeli, and boy o boy what a difference in size and comfort! This thing feels great in my hand. Very small and rounded. Almost never went over 50w on my Segeli, so it's got enough power and hopefully will give comparable time between charges/batt swap. It's like a MVP2 that went into the future. No battery/charger, no danger from mech mod, plenty of power (for me) very ergonomic, connects well with atomizers… Wow! For a newbie trying to quit smoking.. this thing with an atlantis and later maybe a RDA…. heck yea. Far cry from an ego twist with an evod (my first set up) Cheers people, JIm

Oh I have no interest in getting the 50w, I don't think Ive ever went over 10w on my isticks, I just love their small size, and the 50w is too big for my taste. The gear I got sucked into tonight was the GS Air tank. I have absolutely NO NEED for any more tanks, but the people on this thread could sell ice cubes to Eskimos, lol.

Never mind. I misread your post.

Hope you like that GS Air--I do. I'm on day 2 and loving it.

Are you sure about that, Amy? :)

When I unpackaged my 30w, I shook it to see if the buttons rattled out of pure curiosity.

Yup, they rattled. I popped my lemo drop on and went about my routine and haven't heard a single rattle since because I don't intentionally shake the crap out of the damn thing. As long as it works, I could care less. Lol

I have a 50w on order for a couple of higher power atties I like to run and between the two, can keep my sigelei at home during the week for my drippers and throw them in the car on the weekends when I'm hanging out where it doesn't matter if there is foggage involved. :)

LOL. Mine doesn't rattle. I'm obsessed with shaking it trying to make it rattle. Now going to check the auth code and regardless put in an RMA with vendor for a broken istick. :)

I didn't charge it first. Does anyone know about LiPo batts and whether this is necessary? The batt bar was full as far as I could tell

EDIT: is this LiPo or Li-ion(like an 18650)?

Manufacturing defect, IMO.

serial number:806XXXXXXXXX
security code:8449 60XX XXXX XXXX

The validation is successful. The product you bought is authentic.

EDIT: I wonder if I can tell the manufacturing date by the serial\and or validation code

My 50 left Knoxville about an hour and a half ago. Probably in my town right now but I won't get it till about noon tomorrow. If it rattles, I'm gonna throw it across the street. lol

EDIT: Oh, I get it, a rattle is a good thing. Ok, that sucker better rattle.

Most of the youtube reviews for the 30w mention the rattle so it seems pretty common. I doubt it's annoying unless you're purposefully shaking you mod.

I would know mine is broken and doesn't rattle.

I wonder if the button stick issue someone mentioned earlier in the thread was with a non rattling stick. He\she was the first anyone had heard of that issue( fire button stick).
