I have 3 20s and one seems to be like that. But it works just fine.
To me that's awesum. It equates to a day & half to 2 days, especially since I jumped my nic back up to 30mg.
I probably should have just kept my mouth shut as it is not and apples to apples comparison since I don't vape at that ohmage nor wattage required by tht ohmage. so I am probably closer to a week or two with a 50

I used to cuss myold Harley and my ole lady but it just didn't feel right ridin anything else.
I now have a third iStick. I bought a broken black one from the Classified section for $15. The seller pulled the center pin up too far and broke the wire off.
Took it apart shortly after getting it today. This one had no grommet in the 510, just some white stuff that, I guess, was silicone. There may have been one but, if so, it wasn't in there now.
I thought I'd try the fix that I posted earlier in this thread. Drill out the old 510 and replace it with the old style 510. I had a few laying around.
It's working now but I learned a few things along the way.
1. Drilling with a hand drill, it's hard to get the hole perfectly straight. Wish I had a drill press.
2. Using an 11/32" makes the hole a bit too large. Should've gone with a 5/16" and filed as needed.
So it works but the toppers lean a bit.
It's probably not a permanent fix since the 510 is brass but it should last awhile and can be redone if need be.
A learning experience for sure.

AT least you ain't skeered to rip one open and make an attempt! That is the best way to learn, bet the next one do will be spot on.

The iStick 50W is most likely a 16A device. It's capable of 50W @ 0.2Ω. You do the math...
iStick 20w doesn't make connection with most of my atties. Seems like the pin is located too far down. Is there a fix or workaround?
The recommended solution is usually to lift the pin gently with a toothpick.
