I was thinkin that a little extra width would make my 30 more comfortable the first time I held it. I think I'll like the size better, that's one of the reasons I ordered mine.

Funny that you should mention that. I started out loving the fact that my istick 20s were micro-boxes. As my spending spree unfolded, however, I've discovered that I prefer mid-sized mods to the itty-bitties. I was never a fan of last year's Hana&etc large project-box mods with their right angles and sharp edges---I like more ergonomic, rounded shapes that fit my hand better---but my istick 20/30s and Cloupor Mini now feel slightly too small for me. I like the size and fit of my iPV Minis and iStick 50 much more. My next extravagance will probably be a smok XPro Plus 80W for that reason.

Those are red paint stripes, can't change them...

Ohh la la, a pretty vaping woman with racing stripes, what more could someone ask for? :)

I trully hope I am not offending you, but stuck here at the house on pain meds today and ECF is kinda my window to the world. :)

You mean it's not double the size of a 30w??? :). Every time I read a post like this it reminds me of the guy that argued with me because he wanted to claim it was twice as big as a 30. He even used a football field as an analogy. I haven't received mine yet but I don't think a 1/2" wider and 1/4" taller constitutes double. In fact I was thinkin that a little extra width would make my 30 more comfortable the first time I held it. I think I'll like the size better, that's one of the reasons I ordered mine.
It's not big at all...I'm surprised anyone would call it large. It sounds like you did all the comparisons, too. You'll be very happy with yours. It seems just right to me; any smaller and my Subtank Mini would have looked a bit top heavy on it.
What kind of tanks are you planning to use with your 50w iStick?

I haven't decided yet. I want to reduce my rotation to no more than 4 flavors and devote a tank to each flavor. I was dead set on the Delta ll but recent reviews have me undecided. It may be the Subtank Mini or I may just get a few GS Airs for now and wait and see what develops from the newer tanks. I also plan on using an old Kanger T3S devoted to my tobacco flavor on low watts. I'm not sure that I want to sub-ohm all day. But of course I'll be sub-ohmin with a dripper occasionally. The guy that was claimin it was so big was doin it before any were out and he was goin by the dimensions and it havin 2 batteries.

Ebay. (yikes or was it amazon)I bought the stuff designed for wrapping cars for a project on my son's dash and has some left over. Works really well. :) And they had just about every imaginable camo pattern known to man available.

I don't do online shopping... Ever. Don't even have a credit card :p.
I'll needed to source locally

FYI, mainly for Bikenstein on using T3S (on future possibles) and billh on size.....

This is the istick 30W compared to the heatvape defender (rounded on both sides, btw), both with Kanger eMow megas (19mm) and a photoshopped image of a "2nd" defender with the knurled adapter reversed to accommodate the T3S, with the knurled part of the T3S 'hidden' in the "well". The height of the defender over the istick is mainly that adapter, which I really like, since I too vape (and have a cache of) T3Ss :) The defender steps down to 5 watts (3.1 volts with a 1.9 ohm coil). I vape my lighter flavors with the T3S around 6.5-8W and the stronger DV Habana reserve at @11.5W. The istick 30W with a light flavor set at 6.5 watts.

The Defender is a tad wider than the istick, which suits my hand a bit better, esp. for the button firing. Also I haven't had the 'increased wattage' (mean vs RMS) with either the defender or the istick 30 that I had with the istick 20 which is now 'dead' due to the no contact/threading issue - or whatever it's called. No adapter fixes it - pretty sure I'd have to exchange the threading internally to fix.

The Defender has become my go-to mod, even though I have the VS rDNA-40. I took the defender on vacation and it rarely left my hand lol. And it is what I grab when I go out... along with a few eGos. That said, I have five main flavors I vape so the istick and the VS (JG Blend - Ahl. at 15-20W set at 390°) also gets much use. Very pleased with the istick 30 after the not so pleasing experience with the 20. My wife's 20 has never had a problem though, but she never unscrews the bottom of the emow mega she has on it, removing only the 'top' to fill.

I would like to find a sheet of vinyl with a camo print to wrap this thing in. The faux suede feels nice in the hand, but makes the mod thicker..... Doesn't fit in my homemade vape case as well :p
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

Here you go ---- including green, grey, desert and pink!

istick wrap camo | eBay

Edit: For anyone who does shop on-line. (Fun to look anyway) :)

How well do these wraps stay on? Do they peel easily?

I haven't tried that particular seller/brand --- but I've had no peeling problems with any of the wraps I've had.

I find the carbon fiber look textured ones to be amazing -- I've had one for over 3 years and it looks brand new.

Intriguing statement on Eleaf facebook page: "Big surprise will come after the holiday!" Anyone want to speculate on what it might be? Eleaf continues to amaze.

Maybe they have an iStick 100W with temperature protection & 6600 mAh waiting in the wings, to be sold for $70... Oh... and smaller than a pack of analogs.

Wouldn't that be a kicker?

It sure would -- but it would also mean they would have been working during their long holiday, so even more unlikely.

I say -- color and more color and perhaps some "shine" type finishes for at least the 30; silicon skins and leather-ish case & lanyard for the 50 watt.

And or -- just maybe --- a short & fat (22mm) GS Air that holds 3-4 mil of liquid.:vapor:
