Perfect for MTL (mouth-to-lung) vapers,
Got my attention! TY, Bill.
Perfect for MTL (mouth-to-lung) vapers,
Bill, by bottom fed, does that mean you can use it on a Reo?
Get two Lemo 2's and skip the subtank mini...you'll thank me twice.....
I threw all the Kanger subtanks out the window on interstate 10 on my way to San Diego......![]()
I think the M is definitely a bit better than the GS Air
Happy Saturday! While taking a break from cutting the grass, I thought I'd ask my fellow iStickers a coupla questions. Looking for an inexpensive new clearo with easily rebuildable heads. Looks like the GS Air series is leading my search. I like the AFC on the M best. Can anyone tell me if the vape is noticeably different between the GS Air M and the MS (shorty)? For that matter, does the regular GS vape differently from the M/MS?
Thanks!![]()
The Lemo 2 as Inspects suggested is the one to buy for amazing flavor and ease of build. I still have an ST mini unopened in the box. I also like the Delta 2.
Not for tootle puffers, Bike.
Shame on you.![]()
A few questions--the regular Taifun is huge (which is why I didn't get it in the first place). But now I see that FT carries a nano tank:
$1.82 Replacement PC Colored Nano Tank for Taifun GT - black / w/ acrylic top cap at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
and/or this:
$3.41 Replacement Nano Top Cap for Taifun GT Atomizer - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
But it's PC, and I prefer glass.
I wonder if that would work.
Got my attention! TY, Bill.![]()
Nobody tells me anything...still pretty substantial, tweetyhop across the hall - i posted a pic today of a gt nano on top of the defender. there's been some chatting but it shouldn't be too far back

The Rose V2 does not have enough air flow for me. I have 2, one still new in the box after 5 months. Would like to be gone with them.Katya,
I've read that the Rose V2 RTA is similar to the Taifun, but it's finicky as heck (or so I hear), and it's also a lot more expensive than my $10 assembled-from-parts Taifun V2s. Why pay more to get less?
Katya,
What I love about my franken-Taifun V2s (well, they're not really "frankens," they're just regular Taifuns assembled from two separately-ordered parts), besides the fact that they're not finicky at all to build, is that they provide an astonishingly full vape using mouth-to-lung inhaling.
The recent crop (still increasing exponentially) of massive-airflow sub-ohm tanks that began with the Atlantis are quite something---good flavor and huge clouds of vapor---but they virtually demand direct-lung inhaling. I do some direct lung vaping, although I tend to slipstream when I do (meaning that I don't close my lips around the drip tip, but allow some outside air to be drawn in with the vapor during the inhale; my lungs are happier with that). I still use mouth-to-lung about half the time, however. Of all the single-coil atties/tanks I've bought and used (more even than I care to admit), the Taifun GT-T V2 gives the most satisfying vape ever for mouth-to-lung (in my experience). The flavor is outstanding, the vapor is moist and full in mouth-feel, and the sheer volume of vapor is quite surprising for mouth-to-lung inhaling. No, it won't produce the humongous clouds of my Starre tank or SilverPlay RTA, but I like the Taifun's flavor better, and mouth-to-lung is still my most comfortable method of vaping.
I vape my Taifun V2s using 0.7 ohm coils at 23 watts, but they can use single coils at pretty much whatever resistance pleases you---from about 0.5 ohms to 2 ohms---and they perform beautifully anywhere from 15 watts to 30 watts, so you don't need a 100-watt box to take full advantage.

Ahhh... I like it a lot! A lot!never mind - here it is

With so many Taifun's to choose from on FT, I wish I would have seen this last week before I placed my order. I didn't know what version to try and that sounds perfect. My personal recommendation would be a Taifun GT-T V2 RTA frankenclone from FastTech. You'd need to order two parts---the base/chimney and the clear acrylic tank:
Taifun GT-T V2 base/chimney
acrylic tank for Taifun GT-T V2
Total cost is $9.45 shipped. You'll also need a drip tip.
Ahhh... I like it a lot! A lot!
Is that a FT nano tank?
ETA--what's that atty in the middle?
it's the ft nano kit - the atty in the middle is the gs 16s, still my favorite![]()
