Well after following this thread I ordered an istick yesterday. I can deal with any rough pwm it may or may not have. I'm mainly intrigued with the small form factor combined with very decent battery capacity. I'll be interested to see Busardo's usual overly long and theatrical vid only so I can see it scoped but the real proof will be the end user (me) experience. For 30 some $$ wth?

One thing that strikes me from this thread, if this APV catches on as it appears to be doing, the manufacturers may go back to building higher ohm replacement coils. A small mod capable of higher power negates the necessity for low resistance toppers. A 2.0Ω to 3.0Ω topper will work perfectly well with a couple simple button pushes to adjust it to your taste.

Ok...so I build my RDAs at about 1.5 and use a mechanical...

Where am I going to set this thing when it gets here ?

Or will I need to build to a different ohm ?

Classwife, a 1.5 ohm build should be the sweet spot for the iStick. On a mech you're running around 11w. Based on Ohm's Law, your 1.5 RDAs should run between 6 & 20w on the iStick, with 11w just around 4v.

I think it's too late. This thing has caught on. Hope the demand doesn't affect pricing too much. It's such a convenient and affordable device for new vapors.

I think the Price is going to Stay the Same. It's what makes people buy More than 1 of them.

Got mine! The Nautilus Mini didn't show up today. Maybe tomorrow. Put a BDC on instead. It came with a 510/Ego adapter, but no cable. The auction said, "box only".

First impressions: WOW! It's a nice step up from a VV 3.0, which now becomes a great backup. I now know what it's like to go higher than 11 watts and I like it!

I went into my B&M to pick up an 18500 battery as my batteries had died and didn't have my charger with me. I was moaning to the guy that I wished they would make a VV/VW mod that was small. He said " I just got these in, check it out" I was blown away. EXACTLY what I was looking for! Bought it right there on the spot. I was first using the itaste v3, then switched to a sigelie v3 using primarily 18500 batteries when out and 18650 when at home. It worked ok but it was too long and I always need to keep a spare 18500 with me. This thing is 2200mA and it's SMALL. I love it! I'm using my kaifun light clone on it with a 1.7 ohm coil at 12watts. Works beautifully! Been using it for a few hours and it still shows full charge. About time something like this came out. Now I just need an atomizer like the Kaifun light but smaller ( but still hold enough juice) and I will be all set. Highly recommend this thing. Funny thing is I didn't even know about this thing. Serendipity!

Does anyone know of any coupon codes?

I preordered from Smoke Evolution and they were $39.00 but not sure if they are taking any more preorders at this time...most that are now ordering seem to have been using Ebay but most with good results but not all. I'd suggest you keep checking around as I do believe many vendors are just getting these in their hands now.
