Brilliant!!!!!!

Yeah... While my Neighbors are handing out Handful after Handful of Candy to Teenagers in Bad, or Sometimes, No Costumes, I can Sit Back and Explain ISO Standards.

There are Benefits from Being Known as the "Celery Man" at Halloween.

LOL

Dead or alive? Both???? Boo!!!!

Happy Halloween! Time to feed those greedy little trolls that will be knocking on my door soon!

Ta ta!

I think we're safe for an hour, Katyana. I like ZoiD's idea. I think I shall hand out sliced over ripened radishes and cooked beets. One drippy bite and they'll look like they're covered in blood.... muuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaha ha.

Well, THAT would make me cranky.

Aha! So this is the Quantumnatum Psychics of which you speak? :)

I'm in...... but make it quick, please DPL. I've got famished trick-or-treaters to feed.

Showing my ignorance here, to be sure, but wouldn't the Cliff Notes quantum physics course be something like, It's here. It's not here. It is and it isn't here, depending how you look. It might or might not be here, but we know that that is unknowable. Its "here-ness" is irrelevant, unless it's not here. It's always here, whether it is or not.

I understand it fully. Please explain how your understanding is better considering my 8 years as an ISO auditor.

So does ISO 9xxx Compliance ensure that All Product Designs are Made to the Highest Possible Tolerances? That all Internal Threads are cut to Class 3B? Or that Cert-ed Stainless Steels are used instead of Cert-ed Nickel Plated Aluminum?

That is true.It is also true that the mechanically inclined person will instantly recognize the fact and seek to return the factory defective product rather than seek a workaround born of impatience. Once that step is taken the user is on their own no matter the outcome.

I think you just want to Argue that Everything is the Users Fault.

I like to Keep a More Opened Mind. And Just because the Thread on my iStick Isn't Wacked, doesn't mean that Everyone Else Threads are Good.

Or that Every Person who has a Problem is Clearly Not Mechanically Inclined.

I didn't read all of the pages...sorry. Just stopped by to +1 the Istick :)

And you seemed upset and I didn't want you to be....peacemaker here...:)

No worries. Not upset. Just tired of people that knee jerk respond without the benefit of first having fully comprehended what they've read. Not a problem restricted to this forum alone by any means.

Remember that these devices we are using are little computers. Just like our phones, tablets and laptop/dektop computers, rebooting is helpful once-in-a-while. I turn my iStick off every night as I charge it...

Hehehe... It even works on chargers. When I used eGo-class batteries and the charger would start acting funny, I used to reboot it--unplug everything, including the wall adapter, wait a few seconds, plug it all back together and everything was well again. Promise. :)

I worked tech support for years. When the niece of one of my coworkers asked what she did at work she Responded by saying that she told people to turn their computers off and on.

I live out in the boonies with two big mean looking dogs and a shotgun. No trick or treaters here ;)

Just moved from the country back into town, so had my first trick or treaters in ten years tonight. Of course the town has a population of 83, which is also approximately the average age of the inhabitants, so it was only four little monsters. Aw, gee, now I have to figure out what to do with the leftover candy.

I can hear them squealing on my street already...... and I'm ready for them. Oh, am I ready for them!!!

If I had Squealing Kids on my Block, I would Hand Out Candy. Nothing Cooler than Little Kids Running around in Costumes ringing doorbells and then Say'n "Trick or Treat".

But all I have is Surry Teens. So It's all about Celery.
