ScandelX: do you notice an increase in the ohm read while using the adapter? Just wondering, since when using the 510/ego adapter my ohms read .5 higher in resistance. I'm hoping the bending adapter doesn't do that.

I'll find out myself Thursday, when my second istick and adpaters are due to arrive.

nautilus w/ 1.8Ω coil reads as 1.9 or 2.0Ω on the istick.
On my ProVari it's 1.8 or 1.9Ω & on the Ω checker it's 1.87Ω.

Basically not enough of a de/increase for me to worry about it.

I just got mine today. Charging it right now. My god, it's tiny, possibly a little small for my hands. I definitely feel like a giant now.

I didn't charge either of the two I ordered when they first came since mods like these as well as batteries come with a fast precharge to insure they are good not doa upon arrival being found in working order. I ran each for a week before the initial charge took place to be sure they weren't going to be seeing any type of defect and have been satisfied so far with the results.

It basically did but I'm one of those people that insists on a full first charge. The only thing That bugs me is that power button rattles. I have yet to actually give it a vape.

When looking into that here I hear a slight sound but it isn't the button but the ejuice in the small tank slushing around which can sound like a loose button. The main button is under some form of spring tension either by a spring or flexible bar inside since I won't need to take it apart to find out. Listen to see if what you are hearing is coming from the tank you have on.

Despite the diabolical with ecig, both of my units arrived today in a timely manner. I have to say that while I have more high end mods, I'm impressed with the quality of these little buggers so far.

I was reluctant at first when people kept wanting to know where to get them and ended up price shopping all over until grabbing one from each of the two vendors. They eliminate the need to carry a long 1300mah VW battery or bulky mod. With the bending adapter on and using a Smok Tumbler or other small size tank they fit right into the watch pocket on a pair of jeans as well as a coat pocket. I won't carry them in a shirt pocket however since they are too light and can easily bounce out on you.

You won't believe this one that comes as no big surprise however since once one good mod comes out someone else has to out do it! So far the only thing found as far as links would be Alibaba.com being a Hong Kong distributer and one vendor showing pre-order status while indicating in stock at the same time to get people to buy there when not actually available. One conversation I ran across indicated the 15th it would be out in time for last minute holiday shopping.

they are pushing but anticipated ship time is still middle to end of december. while i have had no problems with my istick too many others were not so lucky i think it's best to let the first batch hit the market and see what happens
btw i asked about the 510 center pin and voltage regulation but no answer yet

Yes, beyang 30w's 510 connector have an adjustable center pin and you can adjust it according to the atomizer you use.

I just got an iStick, and I read through the directions, but I can't figure out why my wattage settings change. For instance, I set the device for 10 watts, but if I don't take a puff for a minute or two, it drops back down to 3watts. However, if I am in VV mode, I can set it to 4v and it wont change until I manually change it.

I actually not in any rush here since I already picked and choose some large tanks to go on some larger 50w mods one just ordered. I was hesitant on the iStick at first sight but saw an application instead of logging 350mah eGo Mini batteries on me for the writing pen style clearomizers with pocket clip type caps I keep on a pair of 650mah eGo Twists. in a mod stand when not in use.

The decision to grab the first and then going for a second iStick was to see how the size would work out for carrying on person. I've been meaning to try the Nautilus mini tank on one to see if that will handle the higher watts or not since I can't go over 10w with the Smok coils even 2.4ohm being old school safe vape chart type coils.

Send it back if you just got it! Sounds like a factory reject!

If there's a problem with a tank the message on the display will show Atomizer Short and simply not fire when hitting the button. I just ran into that with a Kanger Aerotank Mini I went to use on one of mine. I was wondering if the ohm readings on the istick changed when it changed your watts. That's weird, sounds like you have a brand new problem!

You can put an Atlantis on an iStick but forget about seeing it fire! The other 30w Beyang mod on the other hand will fire as low as 0.2ohm according to the vendor information on that one. Try a Nautilus instead! That looked funny with that one on! I did that one already!
