yep Vivi & BVC

Nice. MyFreedomVapes had these on sale for $4 (now $6.95). I got 2, but shoulda ordered 8.

Tossed the meh BDC coil it came with, slapped in a BVC coil, and these pyrex and stainless tanks rock. Almost 3ml, they are a touch shorter than a Naughty mini. Downsides? No airflow adjustment and the air holes are part of the 510, so if it leaks, it's down. (not from the side.)

But for under $7 (plus the BVC coils) it's a great sturdy match for da stick.

:)

I found it on Ebay. Living in Alaska I have to roll the dice with internet shopping. I'm just glad it fits well and seems like a decent quality. Made me happy:) My son is into the heavy duty gear, but I love the size, power, battery life of these... I just want to make them pretty.
Ooh. Very nice, Jen. I'm going to have to get around to that. I need wraps for my iSticks.

Surely it does!......:)

Apropos the eLeaf in-line voltmeter, it has arrived here too, in selected sellers. But I couldn't help the irony.... Is it calibrated to show RMS or mean averages? At first (and simple) glance, it should show 'eLeaf volts' and 'eLeaf Watts' (if memory serves, it is also an ohm-meter and watt-meter, it alternates the three measurements with an atomizer and a mod feeding it), but ......never say never!........

When you simply press and hold the button the display will go through all three display modes in progression. That's how that works. But one thing it does is show you what you are actually seeing for output over relying on the displays these batteries are putting out. I still need to work with it a bit as well as trying it out on other vv/vw stuff here to make comparisons.

Only reason I never ordered from HeavenGifts is cause they're located in Shanghai China. I already didn't like the Fasttech wait so I'd rather pay more for immediate gratification rather than less & wait 2-4 weeks...........but that's just me.

Couldn't agree more! But I didn't want to spend three months buying some of the new stuff domestically waiting to see which US vendor had what deal going either and used up some PayPal credit upgrade myself here! Still had three orders on the way one from the Smokestore.us site and two from Fasttech. Yesterday the first order from FT arrived earlier then the 12/25-1/2/15 scheduled date and had to sign for it since spare batteries where in the order with the Vamo Fire.

Another mod is due along iwth a pre-order at another. The iStick Mini 10w for $19.99 is at even another Chinese site it appears! Well it was $19.99 and now is $22.99 instead! Eleaf iStick Mini 10W 1050mAh Mod

Uh Oh, We think alike! I'm going to watch for $16-$20. I only paid $31 for the 2200 mah. Why would I want to pay $60 and have to carry 2.
I checked and it appears that Twists are still selling for $25! I can't imagine why.

You won't be seeing it for under $20 since the place I just it listed for at $19.99 saw a price spike which is all too typical. Check into it on Black Friday 2015 or some other vendor special or factory promo offer but not right away! Brand new always ends up being a bit pricey when first seen! $$$$$$...

Looks good! I still haven't tried the Viva Nova tanks Smoktech has out yet in all this time but since I bought a second iStick in blue as spare to the first one also blue it was either the Tumbler which can't handle 20w, The Nautilus mini good up until 15w or so or now a color scheme blend!

i hope all nautilus fans will take a very close look at the above picture and think long and hard if that's the way you want to vape ;)

starting back in 2010 countless cartos were dissected in the 'burning carto' thread and a lot of work was being done to convince china to get away from certain filler materials and now it looks like we're back to square one with the nautilus bvc. :?: and no answer from aspire what exactly is in that ceramics they are using.

While I agree that we do need to know what is in the bvc wicking material, did the person who posted that picture say they used that coil for 4 months? Doesn't that seem really excessive? Has anyone re packed the bvc with cotton? I wonder if that would be worth doing. I honestly love the vape I get from my nautilus mini.

yes, 4 months! but how many new vapers are there who might run a coil way past its life expectancy? and how soon did this charring occur?

Well, I guess they technically only went past the life expectancy by 3 and a half months [emoji15]

I just found a video by Rip Trippers that shows how to rebuild the coil with cotton. I'll have to give that a try!

That does look really good. Eleaf has set the bar, now the competition will try to outdo them. Good for us!

We all knew, with the overwhelming interest in the iStick, that others would have competitive products out shortly...

The iPV Mini is not so "mini". It's just a hair smaller than the an 18650 HANA-type mod. It's biggest advantages are it's ZNAish design and the YiHi chipset.

The Cloupor mini is much closer to the iStick in size and looks to be a great alternative. It's a little boxy and not quite as "cute" as the iStick. Hopefully Cloupor has gotten their act together with their electronics after 3 versions of their HANA clone. My biggest hesitancy with the Coupor Mini is their quality control. I have purchased two Coupor HANA-style DNA 30 v3 clones for $5 each. They were returned under warranty. Many people have purchased them with the intention of transplanting an EVOLV DNA 40 chipset. Many come in working or repairable condition. One of mine worked right out of the mail. The other had a snipped wire that needed to be soldered. I now have 2 working DNA 30 clones for $11 total, shipped. I have two FD 510 connections on the way and am waiting for more Coupor stock to purchase two more. For $5 each, they're perfect for a basic DIYer with a bit of a gamble involved. Hopefully the Mini won't suffer from similar QC issues.

Both have "adjustable" 510 connections. I don't believe that either is floating or spring-adjustable. Meaning, we may have to carry a screwdriver on the go to switch attys. Overall, when these devices hit the $40-45 mark, I expect they will fly off the shelves...

How many hours can you expect from a battery that'll run 30W?

Part of my liking the Istick is the looong battery life.

I don't sub ohm, so I am not sure of battery life, but I wanted a "smaller" mod that I could replace the battery. I have several MVP's and one Istick. What I don't like about those, is when the battery dies, it's no more than a paperweight.
I can carry several 18650 batteries with me very easily.
