How many hours can you expect from a battery that'll run 30W?

Part of my liking the istick is the looong battery life.

Too many variables to say, What resistance on the Atomizer, settings of power level, battery capacity mAh? That said, running a 2600 mAh battery @15watts .8ohm gives me roughly a day on the latest Cloupor chip set, thats probably somewhere between 500-1000 5 second pulls.

Just guessing, on the above, but a good battery should last a day or better for the average vaper, as a comparison though I can get roughly 2x or better from an istick then my VS RDNA, Cloupor 30, or my SX350 based box. I've seen people say 3+ days on an MVP 2, they never lasted me near that long, think 600 or so on the puff counter, and maybe .5 days.

Everyone is different so YMMV.

With a 5000mah battery a lot when not having set up too high. With a better 3400mah battery at 15w with a 1.8ohm coil a few days on the battery life going by light to medium vaping habits that is.

A Nautilus here with the 1.6ohm factory installed coil has been on a 20w Vamo V6 for days already at 15w. With the MVP 2.0 the range on that is 6w-11w not 15w llike the VTR. Turning up the volts and watts will pull a battery down much faster as well as how much use a battery sees. Here I may have a couple of batteries with a mod or a couple of mods with a battery all going at the same time. The iSticks will mainly see use while out on errands or paying a visit to someone in care facilty where I will vape while driving or step out for a few if the visit is an extended one such as having a celebration right at the care facility.

i hope all nautilus fans will take a very close look at the above picture and think long and hard if that's the way you want to vape

starting back in 2010 countless cartos were dissected in the 'burning carto' thread and a lot of work was being done to convince china to get away from certain filler materials and now it looks like we're back to square one with the nautilus bvc. and no answer from aspire what exactly is in that ceramics they are using.

I don't think one can draw much of an educated conclusion from a tiny picture of coil innards that were allegedly used for 4 months.

A full day would be fine. If I had to switch out part way I'd rather just go back to smaller egos.

I don't sub ohm, so I am not sure of battery life, but I wanted a "smaller" mod that I could replace the battery. I have several MVP's and one Istick. What I don't like about those, is when the battery dies, it's no more than a paperweight.
I can carry several 18650 batteries with me very easily.

If you push 30w into a .5ohm coil, expect 3-4 hours of battery life. 10-15 watts into a 1.6-1.8 ohm load can be an all day vape. The iStick's battery life isn't all that great vaping a 1 ohm coil at 5.5v (maybe half a day).

Just because a device is capable of firing 30w, doesn't mean you HAVE to vape at 30w. With the release of the Atlantis and SubTank, with .5 ohm heads out of the box and liking A LOT of power (for a clearo), I think we'll see many people very dissatisfied with battery life.

At this point, we need to find what we like and works for us and accept the many compromises in the current market.

I would have some doubts about getting 4 months out of any coils or atomizers unless they were RDAs or RBAs! I have coiled I rewicked here I have been getting an extra week or two out of and that was about it. Granted the Nautilus coils are a lot heavier then those in the other smaller tanks but the only way would be light use on a daily basis and soaking the coil in denture cleaner overnight if swapping flavors at all if not already having been worked on.

A full day would be fine. If I had to switch out part way I'd rather just go back to smaller egos.

During the summer months while out I would carry a pair of 350mah eGo mini batteries in usb flash drive type key chain holder in case the larger eGo vv/vw battery either went down too far which was not likely since i have several and wouldn't leave home with a fully charged battery or the battery quit! I've had a few of those go one in the first two weeks and another after six months of use! A few other small batteries let go from wear and why I was carrying a pair of eGo mini batteries until getting into the iSticks.

For the VTR or the MVP either of those two I would only bring during the warmer weather when visiting someone at a care facility and being outside the building for so many hours at a time during the good weather. Presently however each will be left in a separate stand for easy grab while at home.

As far as the MVP's, they were a step up from the eGo batteries that I was using. I like the "sturdiness" of the MVP, it's built well. What I don't like about them, is one of them is dying, battery lasts no where near what it used to. So when it dies, I have the choice of attempting to solder a new one in, or trying to use its " innards" to make a new mod, or throw it away, which is what I will probably do.
I like the size of the Istick, but the threads are made of a soft material, and they are a P.O.S. in my opinion. I put an adapter on the Istick and dare not remove it. Also the Istick's readings/settings are way off. All in all it is/was a cheap device, and you get what you pay for. I use it, but I feel it must be treated very gingerly.

Istick better watch out here is the improvements we want

Cloupor mini has announced the better Istick. It is simular in size and replaceable 18650 battery and on board charging.Also a quality 510 connector !! Don't know price and when available.

There is a lot to love about that unit, assuming the build quality means it will outlast a couple of batteries. Removable battery with no external charger needed and pass-through capable? Adjustable 510 pin? Serious precision for ohm readings (we'll have to see how true that is)? .45 ohm capable? Ambidextrous? Magnet back cover? I want this now, but I will wait until a few of y'all have tried it for a while to see how robust it is.

You can quickly spend $50 for a couple of batteries and a charger so people that are moving up from egos to a higher mah disposable are saving money in the short run. I assume the 18xxx will wear out at about the same rate as an internal battery. So 10 or 20 tossed for batteries vs 35-45 tossed for a disposable isn't that bad. I went through $50 carton of smokes in less than a week.

Mine too. The Cloupor also looks like it would be heavier, probably more like the egrip which is almost twice the weight of the istick @ 6 ounces.

$50 for a carton! That had to be back in the 80s or something since it's $100 if not more depending on where you are these days with the high cig taxes a number of states impose. MA being Tax-we-chew-your-money! I calculated a lot of mula made free since I went vaping full time and now have a nice growing collection of things!

Now I have to wonder about the DovPo E-LVT "indestructable" mod soon to be in from Fasttech I ordered on Cyber Monday. That's another Cloupor model there.

I have an e-lvt and it's very good. Don't for one second think that it's waterproof, but the swappable battery feature is great. Heavy in the hand - use a light topper.

Gas stations here have cheapos for around $5 a pack when you buy two. Casino smoke shops and Tribal shops sell cartons around $50.
