Y'all are enablers. Dirty, dirty enablers!

I am determined to wait until feedback comes in on the 30W. But you're not making it easy!

Yeah, I'm gonna hold out too. I don't need one, and by the time I do..... what will the new must have toy be??
Besides, I need to pace myself. I don't want more than 3 rechargeable batteries that will all begin to fail at the same time...

Let's hope so, because I think I might have to catch up. These are worse than computers!

Well there seems to be something new coming out every 5 days or so. And we know how slow Chinese companies as well as vendors can be at getting things shipped out like review samples. :mail::laugh:

I get the subscription emails from the vaping Deals site with Vapor Shark 40w as the latest for $55?! That's no deal however since I ordered a 50w for $50 even and a 150w for $62! I might still take a good look at the 50w when that comes out but will pass on the 30w since it arrived too late.

I've only had this thing for a week! But I love it. And everything that I don't like about it seems to have been fixed on the 30w.

I also have an itaste vv3, a smoktech SID, and a Sigelei Zmax with 3 18650s and 2 18350s. My husband has an itaste vv3 and an mvp 2.

Do I need a 30W? Probably not. Am I going to get one eventually? Probably.

Just picked up my first istick, the blue is amazing. This thing rocks! And for the price you can't beat the 20 watt! I'm completely impressed! Something of this quality for $39 is well worth it.

iStick has made some really good products the last 12 months...I'm thrilled with the 20W and 30W.

Big difference in the 30, they repaired all the defects people have complained about, although I have never had any problems with any of the mods.

I think you meant eLeaf, which is a Joyetech trademark, and yes they have. eGrip, and Lemo were a couple of my favorite devices to come out toward the end of last year.

The iStick was a game changer last year, and the new iStick models look like they have fixed (or attempted) a majority of the issues with the first iStick.

Their upcoming Delta II tank looks pretty interesting too, should go well with either the iStick 30, or 50w.

Do you want a 30w mod is the question to be. The 30w would likely have been ordered here if known about but wasn't since I ordered a second within a week or so of the first mainly to have a spare of the same. The 3800mah Smok Groove II was a larger but as light as the MVP 2.0 but went 3-15w or 3.2v-4.8v depending on which mode you were in. That died during the first six months when going to use it nightly for a few and why I ordered the second iStick in case the first bellied up on me.

From the sound of there you mostly use items that stop at t5w max and don't generally run at 15w or higher. With a 30w you won't see too many tanks you run up that high where you would turn the watts down to where you generally run them. For 20w or higher the advised would be one of the new sub ohm tanks like the Atlantis or Kanger Sub Ohm while some others less pricey are also being seen. Here I may be looking at the 50w model once that is out while that would make the fourth 50w mod here.

Looks like our 30watters have made there way to Harrisburg. ;)

Yes, they are on the move :)

Some may ask: why didn't you choose the free shipping option? Basically, with paying for Priority Shipping (a measly $5), I also get $50 insurance included -- just in case the USPS loses the damned thing :)

ProVaris have PWM too, just added circuitry to flatten out the signal to closer resemble a straight, flat, constant DC output.

Anything that regulates has PWM, it's about the frequency and whether it's filtered that makes a difference.
Provari is about 800hz, Istick 20 is 48hz.

If anyone is listening..... Please don't take my Mean mode away. Ever since I bought the 1st Istick, I use Mean on all of my mods all the time now. Before that, I didn't realize what I was missing however, I didn't have my Nautilus Mini's either.
JUst Sayin'

You do realize that you can get the same vape experience in rms right? You will just have to find the same sweet spot on a different setting....probably at a higher voltage

It's already started...I'm starting to see posts where people want to keep the mean averaging on the iStick. I wonder if we will start seeing an influx of reports saying the iStick doesn't hit as hard as it used to...I'm not getting the same vape, etc. In order to prevent that, here's the first tip. Turn it up one volt....et voila!
