Just received the silicone sleeve from sweet-vapes.

I gotta tell ya... there isn't an istick that shouldn't have one of those on it. It adds no bulk, quiets the button issue and makes it feel really high-end and solid. Not to mention the extra protection.

Best $4 you will spend, guys.

That's it. I'm getting one. Done. :vapor:

Thanks again to all who suggested the 30w. Ordered a couple of them Monday pm, shipped Tues. am from Mt Baker in Washington, "2 day Priority".
The WA version of USPS decided they like 3day better, but they were in my mailbox this afternoon.
1. Most comfortable vape gear yet for me.
2. Have tried two of my regular tanks so far, and am very happy with the results.
3. Haven't had to go above 8 watts to get loads of vapor from 1.8 and 2.4 ohm coils.
I think the spinners and I taste vv/vw are about to retire into a shoe box.

PS- Somebody at eleaf must hate me. There was no button rattle in the kits.

I have not seen that but it prompts me to post the ghost in my machine: in the short life my of my 30w, I have seen it jump in volts 3 times - while power is locked. Usually from 3 and change to 4 and change. I kid you not.

Gotta love the QC in this vaping world.

QC might have a hard time catchin somethin like that. May be a bad chip. That could burn a coil if it actually jumps a volt.

Do the Istick 50w mods come with that protective plastic film over the LED screen like the other models had?

I noticed a small scuff mark on my screen and then noticed that there is no protective film to peel off. A bit annoyed that my screen doesn't have that film, just seeing if I got unlucky or if the 50w just doesn't have it

I thought the same about my 20w for the longest time...... Then one day I told myself "there has to be one on there" and started scratching away with my fingernail..... Sure enough there was one :p

I've been using a Vapor Shark DNA 30 prior to getting my IStick 50w.

With a .5 ohm coil, I tend to set my VaporShark to 20.5 Watts... same thing now on my IStick.

What I do notice about the IStick is, it seems to display ohms higher then what they really are... my .5 ohm coil is displayed as .6 (it's displayed completely wrong on my VS, as 1.8 ohms, but I've heard others report that their IStick 50w displays their resistance as one tenth of a degree higher then what it actually is_)

Not a big deal for me.

Perhaps you got a bad IStick 50w? I'm completely loving mine... amazing power, easy to use, small size and battery life that goes for days.

Where in Los Angeles are you? I'm in Woodland Hills... PM me if you are nearby, and I'd be more then happy to let you try mine and see if yours is a defect.

I'm having the same experience. With my GS Air 1.5ohm coil it reads 1.6ohm. BUT with Aspire BDC 1.8ohm they read @ 1.8ohm or 1.7ohm after I remove it and replace it. It stays at the same ohm until I remove and replace. It's only 0.1 ohm at my range it's not too important. I imagine sub ohm coils that could be frustrating.

I think you might be right... Been picking away at it and I think I can see it. I don't want to take it off, I just want to know that it's there, lol. I'm crazy that way

One thing I've noticed on my 30w istick after my earlier comments is that the screen cover is loose in the center like its not taped/glued down there. The top and bottom seem fine though but it feels like without the case on it that it could pop out.

Not sure if this is common.

Would some double sided tape fix this maybe? Does anyone know what they use to hold it down in the first place. I don't want to return it since its perfect aside from that lol.

Rocky Mountain Vapor use coupon code forum to get 15% off bring total to $32.30 to your door

it should still be working....

I got mine there too. Great service. Full kit, shrink wrapped. Came to $32.XX shipped with that code I read or heard they give free shipping upgrade to priority for kits but they shipped mine regular. Not complaining. Very happy with them

Maybe when you order if you put in the comments about free priority upgrade it could help OR maybe they just forgot and sent mine regular OR they don't sent this particular kit priority

Yep. My silver i30w already has a few scratches and I have no idea how they got there. I've been pretty careful with it.

A silicone sleeve is the one thing I regret not getting

I don't mean to preach, but if you're gonna run 0.4 ohm coils, it behooves you to learn Ohm's Law well enough to do the calculations in your sleep.

You know Kanger and their .5 OCC heads moved alot of people into subing. Many who have not really looked into it, before diving in.
