I'm also reluctant to start collecting new coils. Are egrip heads compatable?
My fingers are crossed the Subtanks will be.

Not sure about the egrip heads, but I know Vaporshark is now offering nickel heads for both the Subtank and the Atlantis. I ordered some of the Subtank nickel heads a couple of days ago but haven't tried them yet.

I grew up at the race track.

Nice! I grew up racing on skis...made the switch to motorcycles about 10 years ago.

I think Dodge Chargers were that color orange back in the 70's.That looks like Knight Rider black. I dunno where the white and sky blue are from. Football?

I just bought 2 KBoxes. VaporBeast has them for $19.95 and with the coupon code YEAHBABY it drops to about $18. If you spend over $35, shipping is free.

They are stored away for now, you know, backups for my backups. You never know what the FDA is gonna do.

Since this is the istick thread, I should mention that I have 5 20w that should hold me for a couple more years. I have a few unregulated mods too and some RDAs. I also have enough 100mg nic for at least 5 years.

Joyetech will be releasing the eVic-VT standalone (minus the eGo One Mega VT). So you'll be able to run any atomizer on it that you like, whether they have TL coils or not. If you like the eGo One Mega VT, Joyetech is also releasing CLR-Ti rebuildable heads for it as well (http://www.joyetech.com/product/details.php?gno=249). I know many don't like the idea of or want to "build" but rebuildable devices will free us further from the vaping nazis. If replacement coil heads rise to $8 each because of regulation/taxation, I'm sure many more people will be rebuilding.

Vaping ain't easy. I wish it were a lot less complicated. Further regulation and legislation are just going to make the entire process much harder. I am settling my expectations much lower than they were originally. I can't go back to tobacco. If that means I have to carry a pink mod and pastel-colored (banish the thought!!!) rebuildable atomizer, then so be it.

I think Kbox's have an honorary mention in the vaping hall of fame for being the most unlikely device that was successful. Everyone I know with them, likes them and with the limited wattage, that shouldn't happen or everything else we know about how people vape is wrong. o_O I've been so tempted out of curiosity...

I think a fair share of people on ECF can rebuild, some just choose not to and your right, with legislation, prices will go up and that will change the picture. This is the golden age of vaping. Enjoy!

The people most hurt will be those that aren't on line, aren't connected with the community or still smoking. I have my fingers crossed that enough vape gear and nic will be stored to share with everyone for some time to come. Basically a community PIF. But that's down the road and probably OT.

Alden, if you end up with pink, send it to me and I'll powder coat it for ya. :)

I waited a couple of days before pulling the trigger on those. Should I, na, I should, na, over and over. I finally said to myself, "Why not, they'll keep for a long time since they don't have an internal battery". I have batteries and a good charger around and batteries will always be available. Wish they had a built in charger though.

I tried them out with one of my GS Airs at 13 watts. On my iStick 20w, I rarely go over 10w with those. Very nice vape, feel good in my hand and very good looking (I got black ones).

Nah...just messing with you! I like my black and silver isticks just like they are...I've even resisted the silicone covers for them.

Thanks, Bike!

BTW, have you tried rebuilding the GS Air with Ni200?
Lol. I'm enjoyin squonkin a REO so much I haven't used any thing else in a couple of days. :) I don't think it would do well because the coil connection wouldn't be tight enough.
