Don't let the haters get to you. They don't get it because they haven't tried it. I now laugh at the leaf burners, such a primitive method of nicotine delivery
I'm looking forward to the argument. He just got back on FB.
I bet that person is the one always pickin a fight! The one that thinks they are to cool for school. The issue is less about the e-cig then it is about the character of the person!
He is that type. That's one of the reasons I don't care too much about him, but I will need to try and make a fool out of him with his stupid comment. When he replies... I'm still waiting.
In my experience those that call others losers tend to be the people who are craving approval the most. They tend to boast and brag about themselves a lot. They need to put others down to make themselves feel better because they are insecure. Don't let their issues become yours. Remember its not what others say about you its what you claim that is true.
I'm not bothered personally, I just can't understand his remark, "What a Loser". I have made almost every family member switch to ecigs. My replies were simply, Whats wrong with electric cigarettes? I use them to quit Marlboros and another was Thirty year smoking habit STOPPED instantly with Electronic Cigarettes.
I don't laugh at them. I feel sorry for them. I always carry a spare cart or two so they can try it they want to.

So.. Was he calling you a loser for ecigs?
I had an experience like that on FB. I'd become newly unemployed - "let go" so that my job could be filled with a vendor/contractor at 1/3 my salary. I let that slip with one of my so-called friends in a FB thread. Within minutes, a bunch of "friends of friends of friends" started piling on how I was a loser and how I was gonna cost them money to pay for my unemployment, health insurance, ER bills, etc.. Bunch of tea-party types, really. I was stunned - these people didn't really know me, but felt perfectly justified to making me out to be the scum of society.
My solution was to un-friend the lot of 'em. Haven't been on FB in the 2 years since. That's my advice.

Yeah, not knowing you is how this type can rationalize their lack of understanding or empathy. Of course, this statement assumes that they're capable of caring for anybody besides themselves.
