Electronic Cigarette Company Gimmicks

Here is an article that I found today. It reports on some of the gimmicks electronic cigarette companies are pulling in order to curve the electronic cigarette markets.

I tend to agree that some electronic cigarette companies are trying to do this, but I think keeping a competitive edge in the market is a good thing for a business. I am a business student, but trickery is not a good tactic.

Seems to me to be a bit of trickery about the 'article' as it is an advert for USAecigarette.com. It's at the end.

While a press release isn't a news article, the practice of making an advertisement look like a piece of objective journalism leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's just another scummy, underhanded marketing trick that is clearly intended to decieve people. In my opinion, that makes USAecigarettes just another scummy business to avoid.

We do not fool our customer by telling them that our e cigarette produces as much vapor as a real cigarette. It doesn't. No e cigarette will produce that much smoke-like vapor," states Tim Jones, VP of USAecigarette. "E cigarettes are not designed to create as much vapor as a real cigarette."

Hmmm... my KR8 produces way more visible vapor than any cigarette I've ever had. That's one of the things I love about it. Nothing is as satisfying as rolling out huge plumes of fog. Is this their way of defending the fact that their ecigs suck at producing vapor?

Hmmm...using a gimmick to accuse other vendors of using gimmicks. The irony...LOL!

THEIR e-cigarette may not produce a lot of vapor, but mine does!!

These guys are so quick to throw each other under the bus.

The amount of visible vapor differs, for me, depending on which liquid I'm using. Some are good for stealth-vaping, and others are good for visual entertainment.
