But nicotine is not harmful...is it??

There are Many who believe that Nicotine can Help Some Cancers to Grow. And hampers the Body's Ability to fight off Early Stage Cancers.

It just gets down to what Study you choose to read.

You can find Studies that say that Nicotine is the Best Thing since Mother's Milk. You can fine some that say it is Worse than Cyanide.

And about Everything In-between.

---

Also don't forget that there is More things in Flavored e-liquids than Nicotine.

Theres worse things floating in the air than some damn ejuice vapor. She just needs to grow a pair already....

You haven't been in the military very long have you? Get used to being told to do certain things in specific locations, regardless of whether it makes sense or not.

...

Then ask her politely to put the unplug the coffee perculator as the vapours irritate you and you have sworn off coffee! :D

Telling a Manager to Unplug the Coffee Maker where I work is a Great Way to get a One Way Ticket to the Unemployment Office.

And to be Chased there by an Angry Crowd of your Former Co-Workers.

Simple answer is to tell her you vape no-nic content! :) Loads of vapers do, and the "smoke" is just water vapour and flavour :D

Then ask her politely to put the unplug the coffee perculator as the vapours irritate you and you have sworn off coffee! :D

Yeah, until they ask for a sample of the juice and you are handed a Dishonorable Discharge.

Oh, come on. Managers have the right to impose rules. That is why they are called "bosses." Instead of railing against her and saying she "needs to grow a pair" (REALLY???) you should start acting a little more professional and a LOT less entitled. Cigarettes used to be allowed in offices and businesses until they weren't. Until you open your own business and become the BOSS, you have to put up with others' rules of the workplace. That is why they call it "work."

I`m always amazed at the American obsession for coffee :D I was going to post and say "ask her to turn the kettle down" but Tea is a typically English thing.(ignoring the historical context and the fact we adopted it from at first China and then discovered we could grow it in one of our own countries, namely India! ;-) )
We have "tea-breaks" and would frown (in a typically English manor) if someone asked for a "Coffee-break".
Although with the invasion of vendors such as "Costa" and "Starbucks" our tea houses are going out of fashion quicker than Plaid (tartan) flairs (bell bottoms) so I`m not surprised.

So ... it would seem the best option would be to stand your ground and risk dismissal ( or the equivilant of a court marshall), give up vaping at work, actually vape no-nic and use nic patches to get you through the day and see if they test your liquid.
Change your job, go back to smoking and follow the rest outside, vape nic and follow the rest outside, or get something really tasty on your boss and have some leverage over her ;)

Note to oneself.... you are not in England anymore Dorothy! ;)

Or, do like he's already doing and head outside with the rest of the smokers.

Gotta scratch my head at some of the advice given to those in uniform at times.

Risk your career and any future employment for a dishonorable disharge?

I really don't see how that would be included in a best option.

I just read through the discovery health link that your boss provided. It reads like my nephews recent high school paper on ecigarettes, only his was much more detailed and informative. Although I personally don't think that it is that harmful to other people, it is their office. A lot of times rules like this are created when someone abuses their rights. Were there people vaping in the elevator or other enclosed space that a non-vapor complained about?
