Wouldn't say last. There are still alot of other suppliers that you can get nic juice from. Other option still is there; Get nic and add to juice.

You can still get the juice with nicotine in it. I get mine from Backwoods Brew in the states. Don makes awesome juice at a good price. I ask him to ship it via flat pack with no mention of nicotine. He marks it aroma therapy oils. It takes between 1 to to weeks to get depending on where in Canada you live. I also get juice from other Canadian suppliers as well. Just remember where there is a will there is a way.

I had spoken to a Supplier a few weeks ago and told him what I had found out/ been told. The crackdown is starting...don't flame the messenger. Also take note that down the the U.S., since the FDA lost its Court Case against TW, lower jurisdictions are now taking action. New York State is a good example. Will there be follow through- who knows. Other stuff that I was told is not approiatre to be posted in an open forum IMO.

For the states overtime I really think it will depends on which side wins the general election. To be honest I'm usually a liberal democrat and hate most republican candidates. But now I'm starting to think that maybe it might be better with republicans. At the very least we could form something similar to the NRA with a couple million member, with a potential membership size or around 45m =). With those kind of number I would think that any political party would be very wary of pissing us off. Or at the very least the opposition party would work very hard in protecting our rights. ( who the hell doesnt want a couple million votes right?)

I hope all the other Canadian vendors aren't getting these. Although there is always the back door route to getting nic juice. Maybe the vendors will ask for passwords and vendor members need to be known to them to get what they need. This isn't back room illegal needle drugs...just nic. HC should mind their own business as we adults can make our own decisions whether we vapevapor or burn the obnoxious alternativeevil that fill their coffers.

I think that's what ECTA is trying to accomplish in its own way. It's intended to be a regulatory body more than anything, but its clout I think will come both from its stringent regulations to keep the industry in Health Canada's good graces as well as from its supporters.

But as for supporter numbers ... well, what I've heard is that these days, about 10% of the population are smokers. That gives a potential supporter base for vaping of about 3.4 million Canadians. That's a pretty unreasonable number though given how little known E-cigs are and that a significant portion of smokers are likely to resist E-cigs or find for whatever reason that they don't work for them, especially if they've been poisoned of opinion by crappy disposables and variety store starter kits. Still, even if we can get a few hundred thousand supporters, that represents a significant enough body of voters that politicians are likely to try and pander to them. Especially if we can turn this into a health/harm reduction issue that can be used as a political platform.

What we might see is what PhatClouds is doing, which is requiring an account, and requiring it to be approved by the owner before you can see the juice. (Speaking of which I still haven't had my account approved...)

Agreed 100% Mindfield... Get rid of the "second rate disposables" that a polluting the opinions of newb vapers. They are causing smokers to turn their backs on vaping. ECTA is the only way HC will possibly see the real compliment of vaping.

Honestly, I believe that what we need the most is political clout, we already have reason and logic behind use if they do want to do scientific studies about it, but then again when did they ever care about reason and logic in the first place. The one thing politicians understand is political pressure and votes, if we have a good clout and a good number of supporting members any smart politician would pick our cause out and use it for his own campaign. Not only can he make himself look pro health by supporting a working method for health/harm reduction, but he can make the opposition look like the bunch of incompetent fools that they are. For what it is worth, Mindfield- i was one of those "poisoned" by seeing my Mom trying to quit with an over priced worthless ecig kit & hearing how miserable she was with it- so i thought whats the point? Anyway i happened to run into a vid. on utube of a 30 year old guy vaping up a storm & i was a bit curious. So eventually i happened to find ECF & very pleased to be a hopeful in our ranks.

Unfortunately, there are already some MPs that know the drill of the ecig. Trying to get them to make a firm stand isn't in their best interests with the parties that they are related to. Staying low and not rocking the boat is the mandate of most MPs. Unless it benefits the party as a whole, cash infusions are the priority and we all know what companies do that.
