I've never had a bad head. Not one. I know there were problems with the fake ones. I made sure I got the real deal and continue to buy from the same source. Bizarre.

I know, right! And I made sure I got the "authentic" Vision ViVi Nova from Gotvapes, same with the replacement heads. It also may have been the juice I was vaping back then... cheap juice from an online vendor, wasn't the best quality.

So, Robino1, do you use the iClear 30s, too? (If you've already answered that before, I apologize).

I started with an EVOD starter kit which consisted of two 650mah batteries, two EVOD clearos and one charger. I immediately got a backup charger as they told me to do that on here about 5 million times. I tried lots of liquids but liked most of the ones I started with which were tobacco similes. They didn't taste anything like tobacco though but I'm not rich enough to sue them and quite liked them anyway.

I have now moved on to an Ego V V3 VV battery that also features VW. I have mini protanks, a protank 2 and a DUAL coil pyrex Aspire.

I know you don't know what any of this means but trust me, I am pretty much the vaping elite on here with that kind of equipment.

Don't throw money at vaping, you don't need to. There is a BIG chance you will spend a fortune and notice no difference. If you don't absolutely have to have 'the next big thing' don't buy it. If you keep reading about how much better your life will be if you make your own wicks and coils and rebuild this and that and you don't like the sound of it or just can't be bothered don't do it.

It doesn't have to be a hobby. The whole point originally was to quit cigs, remember? If you get gear that enables you to do that you have won. Game over. You are the Quit Smoking King. That is the only title I will bow before.

Just call me Robin :)

I only use Vivi Nova's. I have kinda tried carto's but hated I couldn't tell how much was in there. I love just looking at my nova and seeing exactly what I have left. Because I'm very happy with them, I have no desire to learn another delivery system.

You forgot the '/sarc' tag.

For some people (like me!), substituting a cool new hobby was (and remains) very helpful to the psychology of quitting.

FWIW, today is my 30th cig-free day. Do not ask me what I've spent pursuing this new hobby; I honestly don't know. If I had to take a guess, it's probably double what I would have spent on the store-bought name-brand cigs I was doing 2 PAD of. Bit it doesn't matter. Being off cigs is priceless.

i vape as a hobby to keep me from smoking *and* drinking.. alcohol free for 11 months and smoke free for 5 months.

i like to tinker and collect stuff. after first venturing into ECF i immediately knew i wanted to have the best vaping experience possible and it's been a fun learning process. not cheap but not breaking the bank either.

Like PBusardo says, everyone has their own journey, and we all settle in where we find our comfort zone.

I like to try everything, but I've settled in with carto tanks and a SiD and MVP for regular use, and use some of my other toys occasionally. I have a good idea how a lot of it works, and it's time to stop buying new stuff, and get to know what I have really well. I'll add more later on as need/want pops up. I'll probably throw a mech in, but I'm slowing my jets getting into a KayFun or a genesis tank or anything else for a while. I'd rather enjoy some of the good flavors I've got sitting here! If it weren't for the number of bottles on my shelf, I'd probably have put my ProTanks away by now!

'grats on 30 days! Well done!

You deserve a reward - you should go buy something shiny to reward yourself with!

There can be a hobby aspect to vaping in regards to mechanical mods and rebuildable atomizers, etc, and I've found that to be very enjoyable with rewarding results. I enjoy the tinkering and rebuilding, but that's me, and it's a given that it's not for everyone and most certainly not required to enjoy and be sucessfull with vaping. The expense associated with it for me is more than most would bother with, but still less than I ever spent on cigarettes in the same time frame.

The truth is, that no matter what mod/atomizer I'm playing with on any given day, the one setup that I always have going, no matter what, is my favorite e-liquid in a Protank sitting on a vision spinner battery. Simple, dependable, and always tastes great.

Gotta have something to vape while I'm rebuilding. ;)

I took this crappy pic of my collection a few weeks ago ... I'm about 2 1/2 months into vaping ... not included in this pic is a multitude of eGo's and the 20+ or so mods and atty's that have recently arrived in the mail. I always tell myself that this one is the last purchase ... I'm so weak, and this is just the beginning, the end is not in sight.

sell everything, and with the proceeds, invest in Semovar and/or Provari and/or DNA 23/30

...nuff said
:D

forgot something: couple of Kayfuns or Taifuns or other Funs like tanks

You, in fact, may have a problem. I'm going to show this picture to my wife so she can see how bad it could be. ;)
