I am not so great with silica, don't use it that much, but can wrap a mean coil .... LOLOL

Oh, I have 3mm glass tubes also, already have one set up .... I can bring a couple if anyone wants to try that too.
IF ... IF I can make it. LOL

Ya, Im down for trying that for sure. The glass tubes are interesting. I have some ceramic wicks ordered but somehow I fear they wont make it in time, but they may :)

Just wanted to thank Matt again for making such an excellent product... I now have two, and I am already itchin' for another one, haha.

I also wanted to share these images... I know Dirquist posted a pic of his shorty universal... And here are a couple options I have come up with that accomplish a similar goal. I did all of this with a hand drill as a lathe, a broken off piece of utility knife, and a round top Dremel carving bit (held by hand, because I couldn't control both the drill and Dremel at the same time). Most of the major shaping was done with the side/edge of the knife blade while using the drill lathe... I used scotch tape on the drill bit that fit inside the universal or pipe stem tenon so it was snug. The o-ring grooves were done with the Dremel bit, I don't know which number, but it had to be a low 190 series round head engraving bit?

The 306 to 510 adapter and Cherry vape can't be considered "universal" anymore, but they fit nicely into both the A7 and Phoenix Clones I use, as well as some other devices. They are tight enough that I can bite the stem and not worry about the pipe bowl dropping off, which was the goal. I can understand that a system like this would be hard for Matt to sell on his site, since it wouldn't work with all devices... So basically you need to modify it yourself if this is what you are looking for. The double o-ring stem is what I am converting all of mine into at this point... It still works on a Cherry Vape Universal, or you can direct fit it into anything that uses a standard 510.

You da man! Love that. I want to do the double oring trick but I dont have the confidence. Looks so much better to my eye than using the universal. Bravo!

Nicely done Sir!
I wish we had the time to do more stuff like this for everyone.
We should have shorty universals soon though :)

Those double o-rings def look amazing. So Matt, not to discount how cool the new Baux looks, but what is that tank just to the left? It looks like its got silver leaf overlay. I gotta say, would love to that thing on a pipe.

That is indeed a sterling silver tank sleeve. Cherry Vape had a few of them made in Nepal. They sold a few over Christmas, I was lucky enough to get one of about 6. I'll talk with Chris about getting more, but not sure if we'll be able to get them...

Indeed. Well done. Thanks for the detailed description, I am totally gonna give that a try, I have been mainly using my Phoenix lately. How's the A7 in comparison?

Never seen the wassp can I get a pic, love the solar dragon, good idea. Guess I failed to mention that one palm tree will be eqipped with an outle t for charging your batteries.
Never tried the blue grass and bottom leaf are the extracted tobbacos?

Sure thing. I figure if your stuck on an island you might as well have a pipe you can kick back with. Of course, then I started thinking Id like a smaller one also for running around with chasing down my food or whatever.
