I was gonna say the same thing.... plus I dont think you can copyright a name in general. But I'd let you call them Ryan pipes if you wanted too :) haha

Ah, yeah that's different. You have to alter a photo up to 50 or 60% in order to avoid infringement.
We did that with the sauce labels.
If it was just the name then how many people would get sued over Sherlock?!
Anyway, I might run that by our lawyer just to be sure...

On another note, related by the lawyer, we should be getting the lease for our store this week!!!!

Guns and Pipes?
Does it get any better?!
image_zps7c2835de.jpg

It certainly doesn't.
And you should be good considering its only a name, and not a picture. But asking a lawyer sounds prudent.
And congrats on the store.

Well hell, I dont usually alert people to my personal stuff but this is home right. I cant miss the party. Here is my daily carry, in fact I'm about to walk out the door. S&W Model 327 Night Guard .357 Magnum, 8 round cylinder. Plenty light weight and with 2.5" snub and night sights. Ive got some others but this one was actually on me so here it is. Oh, dont forget my blowfish with Killer 705 rba! You can almost read it inside the Jazz Carto tank.

Love those classics that have been posted :)

How are you getting along with the Killer...I have one on the way.

It is a bit of a learning curve that Im still on. It seems to be working pretty good but I seem to be on a quest to tinker with it constantly which leads to issues. Just barely altering the juice feed can cause a significantly different effect. At times I get vapor lock, it seems oddly enough when I have the juice feed wide open or close to it. Then if I close it up a bit I get massive flooding. If I close it to what seems almost closed it functions exactly perfect but I feel like Im getting dryish hits that lack a bit of flavor. Although it keeps on trucking without ever completely drying up. So to sum up, I dont think I have found the exact sweet spot or fill method quite yet but I feel like its close. There are no directions for it with the Jazz Carto Pipe so that is part of my saga. Im using a 50/50 Namber Juice Caramelized Bananas. Dont want to risk my pipe sauce to loss.

It could be that all I need to do is rebuild it from the stock setup myself with my wick and wire. Im sending it off to a friend after the 15th of March and Im sure he will rebuild it and play with it a bit or whatever he wants and then Ill do the same after I get it back. I guess Ill know more then. I hope you can share your experience when you get yours.

Where did you get your Killer 705? I have some really great carto tanks, but def want to stop having to buy cartos.

Here. But it appears out of stock. Shock right. But it seems to come in and out often. It just happened to be in stock first time I checked so I guess I got lucky.

Thanks Dirq,
Looks like another classifieds stalk. Hopefully I can get lucky.
BTW, has anyone here had issues with their Vision Eternity leaking, or broken posts? Cause the last thing I wanna do is have juice leaking all over my pipe. A handful of reviews I've watched have said it could be an issue.

I personally have not had an issue with my eternity but I can see how it could happen. Im very gentle when rebuilding but the fact is you have to snap the clips onto the post and they do wobble. I hope it never starts leaking but I would never tell anyone that it wont, just from my experience with it. Hope others chime in for you.

They look great btw, here is mine lol

He got it from ePipeMods silly. Matt makes masterpieces as well as daily use pipes.
Its the Brown Wizard he got for being the best dern helper on this thread this year.

I really liked the Dragon-styled pipes, but this one looks even better. Beautiful craftsmanship Matt :toast:

OK Dirq, stalking your Flickr pipe pron. And I want your Viking more and more. And how on earth did you get that churchwarden to go onto the Penelope w/o a universal? At least it looks like a Pene.

The churchwarden I have that fits on a pene was purchased from Romaniac at Jazz. Also the one on the Jaderuler Dragon was from him. The Viking was my first pipe and ya, I love that one also :) Just a note on the stems that fit on the Pene. I have three pene's and that stem only fits properly on one of them. The other stem I got from him also only fits on one of them and fortunately its a different one. The mouthpiece of the pene is not a super tight tolerance and they all seem to be slightly different. Which is the reason Matt doesnt sell them, I believe.
