Thank you Matt, truly appreciate it. I just love this pipe and am very pleased with it. Just can't put it down. Wanted to know if there is any instructional vid or tutorial on maintaining the bowl like polishing and cleaning it n stuff.

We did unfortunately have a handful of buttons from this last run of 200 that went out with a sticking issue.
The buttons can be clicky but they should not stick on. This was due to some slight variances in the inner I.D.'s of the switch. I thought we had caught them all, but a few slipped past us. All it takes is .001" to mess things up.
We are doing our best to get the issue resolved for all future buttons. Any one who has e-mailed me, I'm sure most of you have, can expect a new button in the mail soon.

As for the slanted key rings... This was also something we tried to avoid with Quality Control. But it seems some may have slipped past us. Also Chicago pipes were not tested with the new switches....
Long story short if the battery sits too low/ key ring to high, the pipe can auto fire without the button being pressed.
If this is happening to you please e-mail me wellman.matt@gmail.com, and I will get your pipe fixed up asap.

All new runs should be clear of these issues in the future. We have developed new methods to help us maintain the needed tolerances for both the buttons and the battery chambers.

As with any product though, mistakes can happen, Just know that we will take care of you :)

Update and product info!!!

So, as far as the loooooooong stems go. I managed to snag a handful of these from my supplier a few months back.
They are currently back ordered with my supplier. However I have reserved several dozen when they are finally available.
I'll keep everyone posted here for when they will arrive.

As for the V2-
Most of of you proud V2 owners are very happy and have little or no issue with your pipe.
But there are a handful of pipes that do need some extra attention.
As with any new product R&D is wonderful but until the first run goes out, it's hard to know what to expect.
All of the pipes that recently went out were made back in February and March. No new V2's have been made since.
We have been reviewing the few pipes that have had issues and we are making the appropriate changes needed.
Another factor involved was the creation of the VapeSafe which was the direct result of the fuses in the pipes.
While the VapeSafe itself is not a workable option for the pipes, we are currently exploring options for something similar to use with the V2.

Long story short-
The V2 is going back into an R&D phase for the next month or so.
We hold a high standard in Quality and while the majority of you are satisfied with your V2, I know we can make it even better.
In the mean time we will be release small runs of V1 pipes. This is in order to keep pipes on the site and keep the funds flowing for the V2 development.
This will most likely be the last chance for anyone interested to purchase a V1 pipe.

Thanks for everyone's support. Most of you realize that this industry is moving very fast. We are doing our best to keep up, and keep things safe, and simple.

Matt, are you still selling the v2s, on the site?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Yes they are still on the site, only a few left though.
My point in the last post was simply that several new developments that will be good for the V2 that have come up in the last few months. Until we get all the details worked out V2 production is on hold.

Ash, agree with Dusty it could be the fuse - either blown or maybe even just come loose (that has happened to me).

Look inside the bowl for the little wire with a green bulge, supposed to be connecting between the key ring at the top of the bowl, and a little receptacle for the bottom of the wire attached to the wiring at the bottom of the bowl. The top of the wire should be inserted into a tiny hole in the key ring, and if that comes loose you have no electrical connection. But if the top of the wire is snugly in that hole (and the bottom of the wire is in the other receptacle hole down below), then the fuse may be blown instead of just loose. One time my fuse came completely out (the wires came out of both receptacle ends) and was down under the battery when I took the switch button off.

Another small possibility, even though unlikely if you have one of the new switch buttons: Check to make sure that the magnet inside the center bottom of the switch button has not stuck into the depressed position. This was happening a lot with my first V2 switch button, and will also prevent the pipe from firing, but has not been a problem with the replacement button.
