I won an ePipe on Facebook from another company (that until now was not an ePipe vendor, just cigs and juice). They called it the "ePipe 618" so I looked it up and found it on Alibaba.com. Which means someone in China is seeding these out to look for companies to sell them. They quote availability in the 100K+ range.

No way it is going to beat the handcraftedness of ePipeMods ... so maybe in the end it is good if people who want something better get exposure to the idea in the mass market.

I'll post a review here on this thread IF ePipeMods wants me to? And if you want this post NUKED feel free to tell me but I figured it was good information for you.

MERCHANT's cost of the kit including box, pipe, 1 battery, charger, 2 clearomizers and 2 tips is $26-32 if I remember right. Likely $26/kit at 100K+. I don't think they'll sell in qtys lower than 1K usually so no small vendor is going to jump on this too quickly. The guy I'm buying it from may not even know where it came from if they are being seeded out. Will probably retail in the $45-75 range depending on the store.

I'm still glad I won it, as now I can gift to my dad who is so close to ditching analogs. And the guy who runs the site I won it from (was a FB "share this page" contest) is a really good guy. I just don't like seeing chinese "ripoffs" (they don't look just like an ePipeMod pipe by any means) hitting a market like this at such a cheap price point.

Some people gotta learn stuff the hard way, like me. After Swisher Sweets disposables, I wanted to get my hands on a PV. So I ordered my Gunmetal Zmax, but it literally took one week on ECF to find ePipeMods, and I knew I had to have one as son as I could. But hey, now I've a backup for my backup's backup.

That thing is just a cheezeball pipe IMO. It will feel like a toy next to any of these handcrafted pipe makers. Ill be looking for your review though. There is a place for these cheaper pipes, and of course there are people that are into things actually made by hand. Two different things IMO.

What I do want is that tank and pipe stem. They look like great penelope candidates. I already emailed another vendor who is selling those to ask if I could buy the stem and tanks separately but they said no.

Stem are easy to convert if yow have a few power tools, a drill press and/or a dremel tool makes it very simple. I haven't done a Penelope because I don't own a Penelope but the conversion should be similar. I use a burr like this DULSC3A SC3A 3/8"x1" Cylindrical Radius End Carbide Burr 1/4"Shank. | DrillsandCutters.com to open up the end of the stem and a 7/32 (I think, would have to double check sizes) drill bit if needed so a metal stem core from Siam Mods drip tip will fit. Hardest part is finding the stems to convert, I have been getting mine out of Turkey.

It's the clones I take issue with.
I think that new pipe is an auto switch too, good luck with that! Autos blow IMO.

hey DCA users how bout some help? When I put my DCA together (like matts video shows) It does not draw at all..... if i add a 510-510 adapter it works fine.... anyone know why this is?

Are u tightening the base to tight. Try backing it out a quarter turn.

Penelope and Vision Eternity just arrived, to bad all I got was the atty with a ceramic cup. Gotta order all the rebuild essentials and spare bits. However, the Eternity is all setup and rockin like a beast. "Now I get it," LOL. But seriously, WOW. Also didn't wanna risk the little pipesauce I have left, but luckily Brad sent along some CoV RY4. I gotta say, I haven't vaped 24mg since disposables, and now I know why. Rock solid TH is an understatement, the first pull nearly choked me. But dayum, the flavor is super clean. Can't wait to put some pipesauce in this thing for a true first taste.

My tank cartos are usually standard, but I've since started using LR. Since i started using the ePipe nearly exclusively I stocked up on LR. Usually 2-2.5 ohms.
I actually enjoy this cooler vaping atty.
