I've seen pics a few times of pipes with stainless steel stems. Where are these available from? I'd love to have a few choices.

Ideally I'd like to find one I can mount directly into something like this VPX endcap ( Beveled "Slant" T-316 Stainless Steel End Caps - Vaperfexion ) ... if I can't directly insert the stem into that then I'll look for something to adapt down the size, but first step is finding the stem.

Brass stems would be interesting, too.

Need some advice please guys ....I have a Peterson stem and it seems to hold on to flavors when I swap juices, whats the best way to clean these and get rid of the taste.Thanks.

Try soaking it in a 50/50 solution of bleach and ammonia

I'm gonna say:
THIS IS A JOKE! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS! VERY DANGEROUS!
just in case

Hi Matt,

VAPEMAIL! Got my sauces today. More importantly I got the briarwood CIY today and hereby confirm it works like a champ when I received it. Taking you off the hook now since (as you know) I'm intending to spend way too much time modifying it and possibly breaking the electronics (don't be surprised if I end up buying a replacement vapesafe :whistles: since I think I'm going to punch out the bottom and run tubing "above" and "below" the battery area to allow for a larger IMR) and then repairing.

For anyone interested in the sizing of this one (it was the mid-size of the first 3 CIY blocks), this is a comparison of my Dublin compact "pocket pipe" (my first from ePipeMods a couple months ago) and the briarwood block CIY pipe side-by-side. Show just how teeny the mini Clearomizer is and how well a fat tank and medium length stem is going to work on this beauty.

My first pipe:

Same equipment on the briar CIY:

(note ... due to the angle you can't tell but they are butted up against each other side-by-side and the bottoms are flush ... that's how much more room there is on the CIY even though it uses the same size battery for now)

Just to remind myself to not screw up too badly, "I was warned", Matt already said he thinks I'm biting off more than I can chew on this one. Though really that just spurred me along. I'm off work on disability for a few months so this thing just became my full time obsession until I go back ;) ... time for me to renew my electrical soldering and jewelry skills a bit.

I'm going to love having a "whittling" project that has some DIY soldering (VV mod with LED), carving, pipe fitting (copper and brass) and probably some stainless steel 3D printing involved. So ... it will be a WHILE before I post the results. It will probably look very little like an ePipeMods pipe when done. It will be it's own pipe rest with the base being done such that the tank will be fully vertical whenever the pipe is resting.

I'm going to buy/build the tank first along with probably building a DIY standard mod out of copper with a vapesafe or kick in it. That way I can be puffing away on the main components while I steel myself up for the final round (carving/tubing/rewiring).

Wish me luck ... I'll get it done ... just a matter of how well I do it!

I'll definitely be upgrading the Dublin soon and keeping it as my pocket pipe. I'm in love with that snubby just above ... so there goes another round of cash soon. The Clearomizer was a great "do I want to do this or not?" decision maker but I want to do it up more now.
Hey bro you can make a nice pipe with a shank on it with tha5 piece, my freakin mind has dozens of th8ngs going through it right now

Love the low shank , im not a big fan of the connector being in the middle, I like it when 8t is set more to the bottom.
