It took watching another video review of the empire drip shield where the guy explained how they actually work and why they're needed for me to figure it out.

In other news, anticipating the arrival of my v2 pipe tomorrow!

I was looking up information on the wood my pipe was made of because I'd never heard of Hormigo Negro before. They call it the "singing wood" becuase it resonnates well. It's used in a number of traditional Africal and Central American percussion instruments like Marimbas. I won't be smacking it with anything, however.

Oh wow! That looks awesome!

My grandfather collected Ford Model Ts and As. I came this close >< to getting his '36 Model A when he passed. But we don't have a garage so I had no place to securely store it. Broke my heart to see it auctioned off.

But if I were to take on a restoration project, it would be a 50's truck or 60's Beetle.

Love it Matt! You and me I think would get along. Im dirquist here but on every other board I go by pseudohippy. Im a hippy at heart but a bit too young. I used to own a VW Bus, for a long time. The things that happened in the back of (and even the front) of that thing are legendary. I would totally dig building up a Beetle and relive it all (except it would probably kill me now) my youth. I chopped my pony tail about 6 years ago and have been a pseudohippyincognito ever since
