I think that's exactly what he means!
I gotta say, it's so exciting to see what the EpipeMods crew has accomplished over the past year. When I became interested in the pipes, the protopipe had just hit the scene. The growth I've witnessed in the product line is phenomenal. Also for anyone who has not yet tried the pipesauce, you're doing yourself a disservice. It is so very tasty. I'm vaping my way through a 100ml bottle of the Oak Barrel Cider right now and it is so juicy and delicious. I would like to make a suggestion. For those of us using rba's or just trying to reduce nic dependence, I would like to see a 6mg version of the pipe sauces. I don't know if that causes issues in production but it seems like it would be pretty easy to do.
I would guess that I could "water" the 12mg down to six with X amount of VG. Anyone know how much I would have to cut the juice to get it down to 6mg? 50ml of VG sound right?
ANYWAY, love EpipeMods. You have my continued support and patronage.

I could be wrong but Im pretty sure Im working my way through a 100ml bottle of 6mg LBL right now. Ill have to check when I get home though.

EDIT: I meant to say 6 Proof ;) And ya, just checked, they have it listed.

Ah ha!! Now those look awesome to me! So does the button protrude out a bit further on these to allow for easier firing of the mod? Would love to see a video just to get an idea of how you hold and fire these cigars. Thanks for the heads up Matt! Another awesome product to add to your lineup!

Ive never done a video but perhaps Ill try that out tonight. If not maybe Matt will get to it. Or, you could drive down the highway and check mine out ;) Im in Seattle during the days.

Normally I can't stand 99% of the vaping videos I see but in this case I would be interested. Please do! I am curious about the technique too.

I would love to tell you guys that I have some innovative new way of holding the mod and depressing the switch...
But really the cigars are a like any other tube mod with a bottom switch.
I suppose the only advantage would be that our switch can be depressed at an angle and does not need to be depressed evenly from the center.
Never the less the cigars are an artistic tube mod, nothing more.

The Grandeur is in the art in this case, not some great new function. But I guess that is true with all of our mods :)

Well it's wonderful and highly functional art that I hope to own someday soon! Thank you Matt.

Quick question if I could ....

I got a pipe last Friday (YAY!) and was looking through the pipe stems. They all seem pretty long to me, but then again I can't really tell anything without holding it in my hands.

Which stem would be about 3" long and bent? It was hard to tell from pictures, and it seems they all say the stems are 5".

Thanks!!

Hey Matt,

Just jumped on your site today to windowshop (what's up with those v2's and usbaux? where are the videos of these advancements!) and get some more pipe sauce and some batteries. I stopped vaping for a while, got back into real cigars and even a tobacco pipe of late. But then picked up my steampunk nut epipemod again, juiced up my slowly dying batteries, and enjoyed an hour of longbottom leaf and some shire malt again. :vapor:

Definitely interested in seeing how those cigars look/work all put together with buttons and atomizers. If I get on in time I'll likely jump on one.

Best,
PJ

Ya, it looks like they only have the short ones in a more straight form. They look nice though. They appear in stock as well with all color options. I really like the Petersons though but yeah, they are kinda long. Although perfect for me.

Well I was thinking about doing a vid of mine but didnt have the chance last night. It really is the same as any other bottom button mod. You can use your pinky, index or middle finger. I tend to hold it between my pointer and middle finger and then slide my middle finger to the button and fire.

Here is a pic of what it looks like set up the way I like it which is either with oddy drip mode or penelope.

In regards to shorter bent stems.
This is a dilemma for us and here's why.
Bending the stems is one of the last process' we do. Tenons are cut and mated to universals first.
In order to bend the stems they must be heated, then bent to shape and cooled.
Real pipemakers have the stem attached to the pipe when they are heated to help insulate the tenon and keep it from bending, warping or shrinking. Because we work with atty's not wood we can't do that. A tenon for a 510 on a short stem if heated and bent gets way messed up. It can be done but its a really time consuming task that results in repeating process' several times over and a rate of loss around 50%.

I have thought about doing a vid on how to bend your stem. But my concern with that is, if you mess up you stem, I can't be responsible for it.

Thanks dirq and MBMatt.... I do like the Fancy Saddle and Peterson ones ....

The Cherry Vape half long ones look pretty thick, I probably couldn't bend one of those.
I guess I will see how my pipe looks when I get it, supposedly tomorrow!!
I can't picture anything, so I'll have to see when it comes how the proportions will all be. :)
